What's new

Utah Jazz vs. Boston Celtics July 6th, 2015 7 PM Mountain Time *Official Game Thread for SL*

Exum played better than I've seen him all year. Hood still amazing. Smart is a very nice player.

I like Smart, but his confidence borders on being a chucker. Also the flopping is truly unbearable. He is going to create a lot of enemies in the league like he did with Cooley tonight.

I've lost count how many times I've sprained my left ankle.

The thing that sucks about sprains is that after you have your first sprain, you are way more susceptible to more for a while until they fully recover.

Damn. Cy made of glass.

His shot selection is terrible. But he's young. If he learns to pick his shots, and many young players do, then he's a good two-way player with all-star potential.

I'd still take Exum though.

Nah, I just sprained it very badly skateboarding in HS then periodically re-sprained it for a few years. Haven't had any problems with it for about 2 years now. It does crack really badly when I walk up stairs though.

Dante's one looked pretty severe though didn't it?

Dante dramatizes pain after contact. He always looks like he is dying when he hits the floor. He was going pretty fast and a pretty big inward rotation of the ankle, but at least he wasn't air-born.

My interest is in making this board a more pleasurable place to read and post.

I'm sure I speak for many when saying your absence would accomplish that somewhat.

In other news
Hood was the best player on the floor followed by Exum, Sweet!

Well I guess worst case is Steph Curry and even he's doing pretty well now. Here's hoping it's nothin'

Yeah... It won't be anything like that. Looked like a relatively minor strain. Exum is just precious.

Hard to tell. I bet he has pretty good swelling and bruising tonight. Usually would take 2-3 weeks to recover from a bad ankle sprain. If there's a complete ligament tear it could be longer. He'll have much more therapy to keep swelling down and regain range of motion and strength than your average Joe, so he could be back to almost normal in 2 weeks. They won't have him doing contact for a month, but he'll be able to practice, exercise and do drills in 2 weeks most likely. It could also be fine in 1 week. Really, only time will tell.

Damn.. would suck if he misses the rest of SL. It's a really important Summer for him too...
