So you are saying you prefer Cooley to JaJuan Johnson?
Lyles is going to be good. He had some really impressive passes that showed great vision and timing. He's going to fit in really nicely. Just needs to start finding his range and hitting his free-throws...and rebounding better....and defending at the rim more....and finishing inside stronger... crap, he's got a lot of things to work on.
Yea, I think he is the 3rd PF on the team that spends some time in the D-League this year. Next year he might be ready to be in the rotation consistently.

I prefer Cotton, but Cooley has an NBA skill in rebounding.
Burke "playing" his way back into the rotation without even stepping on the court.Cotton struggled with Goodwin's physical D and size in the first quarter. He figured it out later on. He is an NBA player for somebody. Dunno if it is us.
That game was like Tyrone was back on the bench. I fell asleep.
lyles is too trigger happy from the three point line without a consistent shot
he is better off driving into the paint

A pair of Treys who can't hit a trey. And both insist on jacking them up anyway. Fantastic! That's an understatement. He's 1/12 (8%) from 3 in summer league. We'd be no worse off having Jack Cooley hucking them up tbh.

So trey lyles shooting 29 percent from FG and everyone say oh he is going to be good. WhhhTtt?? I don't doubt he can be a role player but I can't believe all this act like he is so good. Oubre and booker will have been better one I can't lose this from my mind yet. I'm sorry and I'm sorry some you guys think he is solo good to. I know you had smarts than pretend and I know someone is trolling here try and make it so everyone is happy for such crap performances. .

Big men take time to develop... I think we're forgetting that Lyles is a PF. His dribbling, driving and passing skills I think are far ahead of schedule of where they should be.
Let's remember how long it took for Favors to develop.
All Lyles needs to work on is defense, making (not shooting), rebounding, free throws, I guess that's about it. Of course, that is PRETTY DAMN MUCH EVERYTHING A BASKETBALL PLAYER HAS TO DO ANYWAY. We don't need a point power forward, so his passing skills are nice and all, but I get no chubbies from basic shovel passes and such.
So we drafted Trey part 2 alright. ****.
