What's new

Utah Jazz VS the Miami luke warms on ROOT Sports 1280 AM/ 97.5 FM at 7:00

I didn't say I blame him, I said it was a team thing, but I think it was clear the team was lacking some offensive flow and problems getting into the offense.

Fair criticism, and mostly true. (but i did love that drive burks had when he went behind the back and right at lebron at the rim for 2)
And the pass to favors on the pick and roll for the dunk was beautiful.... too bad favors was fouled badly and the refs missed the call.

Ya this was a great team win, but even so there are still some issues that need to be addressed.

Despite what brown notes thinks, Marvin getting 6 more minutes than hayward all while coming back from an injury while hayward is on fire, is not good. (i know brown, he had to guard lebron)

Kanter getting 8 minutes and 1 for 1 from the field with 3 boards and 2 assists is not good. Favors (possibly the future of our franchise) getting 18 minutes while going 3 for 4 from the field and having a couple of assists is not good.
Burks sitting out 50 % of his first 2 years in the league so that cj miles, raja bell, josh howard, demarre carroll, watson, tinsley, and foye can get more minutes than him is not good.

Great game! and loved every minute of the amazing win, but our future is still being neglected and that is not good.

Jesus, just shut the **** up.

You use way too much over exaggeration.... i was simply stating a fact.... before injury: no burks. After injury: more burks. Just like last year.

Just saying that corbin doesn't like to play the youth as much as the vets. Do you disagree?

Just mocking JF conventional wisdom. It's not just you. Yea Corbs wants guys in there that he believes in, and besides Hayward that's the starters when the chips are down.

Not what most of us would do probably, but when you beat the world champs it's hard not to laugh a little at the complaining.

Agreed, it was just literally seconds after the victory that people were arguing the neg stuff that happened in the game that's all. Expected a few more positive breakdowns.

True enough. I posted right after the win about how big al was a beast, millsap was solid, and foye is an amazing shooter.
I come off as hating the vets, but the truth is i just LOVE favors, kanter, burks, and hayward and im impatient with how long its taking for them to get thier time. I actually hope that there is a future on this team for foye and millsap.... I just hope that thier spot on the team doesn't make any of my favorites not want to stay with the jazz after thier contracts are up.

Guys Hayward can't guard Lebron. He would have been eaten alive and had no energy left for offense. They needed to have Marv or Carroll in at all points in this game. I can understand it in this game. Now in the context of minute distribution in other games I may have a problem but not tonight.

On an embarrassing side note, the Hawks lost to the Wiz last night and only scored 58 points tonight. Curse D-Harris and his getting traded vendetta.

Damn.... the hawks seem to be fallin apart.

Sap can guard him in little spurts too. Hayward gets run over AK style.

Wow. There were two amazing things occur tonight regarding the Jazz: 1. The JazzFanz hate-thread on the game start-to-finish. 2. Oh and by the way, Jazz beat the heat.

For sure. Lebron creates a big time problem and the only thing the jazz really have to try to stop him is Marvin. Carroll did his best to bug the **** out of lebron at least. Not much can be done against lebron and hayward would have gotten destroyed by him.

Carroll sucked *** guarding Lebron.

Wierd how people think that having issues with some things on the team= not enjoying the win.

I LOVED watching the game and have watched every single game this season and am as die hard a jazz fan as there ever was (i have the jazz note logo tattooed on my left arm for god sake)
But i can still think that we should be playing the youth more and enjoy the win at the same time... Im a multi-tasker!

Personally I'm just tired of hearing everyone bitching about who is getting what playing time. It's just old now and people, right or wrong, just sound like broken records. JMO

I'm more concerned about getting wins and seeing the team, no matter who is in the game, execute on both ends. When we execute and play with intensity we win. And that's what it's all about. Play for today. There may not be a tomorrow! Great win!

Lebron's been very complementary of our fans both pre and post games, btw. Class. Maybe he secretly wants to play here.

Yeah right did you even watch the first half? Or are you sarcastic? Carroll was bugging the hell out of him. Less so in 2nd half, which is why Marv played more.

Lebron was taking him to the post at will. Carroll did a decent job of at least making him work at times though.

I agree with this. Burks is a little choppy at times, but when his best plays are extraordinary. I don't know that the end of a tight game against the Heat is the time to try to bump his minutes, but Ty HAS to find a way to get him 15-20 minutes a game going forward. It's brutal to see flashes of brilliance from a guy who can't get off the bench even against bad teams.
