100%. I like Hayward, but Burke needs the reigns. I mean come on.
 
I just finished the game. Richard Jefferson played wayyy to much to start the game.
Jeremy Evans needs to have a few plays run for him. He has a good jumper and ability to get to the rim.
Kanter can dominate inside, yet he rarely is given the ball in a position to do so.
The offense seems to be very very simple. Point guard brings ball up. Passes to a wing player. Point guard runs to the corner waits for a spot up 3. The wing looks to pass inside. When the ball is passed to a big inside it seems as only a relay to pass back out for a long jumper/ or a 3. Almost no emphasis is trying to pound it inside or at the least to set screens for layups. Point guard penetration inside has got to be near the poorest of all teams in all the NBA.
No wonder the Jazz keep losing, this roster has tons of talent. Good thing most of us are hoping for losses. And that Ty loses his job.
 
I was surprised that Corbin didn't use Kanter near the end of the game. He was playing decent. If Corbin is trying to win you'd think he would put him in over Evans. Maybe Corbin is on the tank now!!! WElcome ABORD DOE!!!!!

For him to get on board with the tank he'd have to be sure he has his spot next year. So keep that in mind.

I was at the game. Favors was very passive and pouty, Jefferson and Marvin invisible and Hayward looked tired and disinterested. The only positives were composed and unflappable as usual Burke (btw, he was creating nice shots for himself several of them just barely did not go in - he will be making them easily ina couple of years) and Burks. Burks was active, communicated well with the teammates and in general tried to push the team forward.

I think that Burke and Burks eventually will become very good players and leaders of the team, while Hayward and Favors, sadly, seem to lack "it" and will probably never be anything more than solid starters. The jury is still open on Kanter.

I mean, just look at how Alec Burks can never drive or score or get to the lane because our offense sucks so bad.........

i never said burke becomes stockton.
he is an unknown
he does not get a chance to prove he can run the offense long term

And so naturally Corbin will reward Williams with the starting role tonight after his great effort in MIL.

Kanter will log 16 minutes tonight, just like he did after he scored 25 two games in a row. How else is he going to learn how to soak his splinters?
