Utah Trade Deadline Discussion

The Wiz should trade Wall. That team will not contend as constructed and Wall's contract is abysmal (he gets paid $44 million in a few years). They are 3-0 since he got hurt beating some good teams. They could get a boatload for him too.

Note: they can't trade him until this summer.

I read it was. I'll look for a link, see if I remembered it correctly.
It's the second year. The third year is basically a team option (one million guaranteed if declined).

And he's not passing on $19 million to play on a team with the most toxic locker room in the NBA and will get beaten in 6 games or less in the finals, if they even make it out of the Eastern Conference.

Anyone waiting on that is a damned fool.

But it might also be held up because of.....wait for it....George Hill's injured toe.

Again, this is about the second year, not the third. And "held up" =/= "waiting".

Some guy on the Magic forum says he has a source that the Magic absolutely love Bagley. He thinks they don’t want AG. If DL can somehow get Parker or AG, we’re in business

Sorry im a little slow, but it seems like you are trying to debate with me over a point im not arguing.

I apologize for the confusion and admit you are probably right .

If I’m Orlando and looking to trade Gordon I’m looking for a few things:

- get a superstar (probably not happening)
- shed other future salary
- get draft picks back
- get young talent back

I think the Jazz can figure out a trade that would accomplish 3/4 there.

Monroe took the money. What a douche. Had he started in NOLA and proved himself, he would have made more money this summer. Who advises these guys?

If the Magic are trading Gordon, they are trying to unload someone like Biyombo, not Fournier.

If they really want to do a full rebuild they can probably move Fournier separate of Gordon.

He's more likely to look better in the Boston system.

And it's usually the smart move to take the money when it's available.
