It’s one of the headline videos up top.

Christ. Nevermind. It’s for three other states. That headline is misleading. I actually originally saw the headline and did a search in Google and came up with that first link I provided. Guess it’s old or something. Great journalism, Wes.

This past week, there were two fires on Lake Mountain by where I live. There's tons of places people go shooting around the mountain and every year there are fires started by shooters. I wish all the shooters would only shoot at more controlled ranges like the one at Soldier's Pass. It seems rather wreckless to shoot anywhere else on such a dry, desert mountain.

Guns though. They're cool. And it makes us badass 'Muricans. With big muscles.

Fact: Six people died by gunfire in Japan in 2014 (population 125 million); 33,000 + died by gunfire in the U.S. in 2014 (population 350 million). So you could say if Japan had the same population as us, it would be 18 people.

Yep, we're really cool, if killing people is the description of cool.

You obviously have never watched a Rambo movie.

Oof.

There are a few in Utah but they are all in out-of-the-way, uninhabited areas. Nothing like last year or the year before... yet.

we’ll have plenty when we have a month of exploding freedumb every night. A dry spring is going to lead to a terrible July.

Agreed. This year will most likely be bad.

I hate fireworks btw and wish they didn't exist.

Agreed.

I also don’t understand why we need an entire month of them. I liked it better when you had a few days around the 4th and a few days around the 24th and that was it. Now, it’s an entire month of noise, smoke, and fire. I can’t imagine what it’s like for those with pets. July is my least favorite month in this state. Right up there with January and February, yuck.
