Utes up to 14th in polls

I think Oregon has a real shot at being unbeaten. If they run the table, it doesn't matter what Boise, TCU or Utah do.

However, if TCU and Utah are both undefeated heading into that game, I think the winner should leap-frog Boise in the standings. Boise's schedule is just too weak. I keep hearing how that's not their fault, but guess what? It doesn't matter who's fault it is, it's still a crappy schedule!

Now if Utah can go undefeated (I don't think they will), that would give them wins over Pitt, Air Force, TCU, Notre Dame and a 7-win BYU squad.

That's not too shabby! :D
 
Ute fan wants national respect.

Utah has an amazing last 7 years or so in football.

We're just trying to act like we've been there before! Plus, we're tyring to show a certain other fanbase that it's possible to win with dignity as opposed to arrogance.

As far as I can tell, TCU is a much better all around team than Utah this year...but we get them in SLC which always gives you a shot at the upset. AF, TCU, ND, and BYU to end the season is a pretty tough stretch though. BYU appears to be down this year, but rivalry games are never easy. AF always plays us tough. The jury is still out on ND though.

I personally can't wait for the Utes to play the true overrated team that has players celebrate fumble at the goal line in important games. Utes will spank them.

I'm not that big on college sports. I only favor the Utes because I grew up in SLC and they're not BYU, so I sleep pretty good no matter what.
 
After years of deliberation, I have come to the conclusion that CONAN is a disgrace of a sports fan. He can't even talk trash in an interesting manner.

Didn't want to start a new thread so thought Ute fans might notice this bump and read that Shaky Smithson is going to be on ESPN's First and Ten today.
I'm sure they're going to talk about how he is now the legal guardian and moved his brother from Baltimore to take care of him here in SLC.
