I don't post on here too often, but I have read your guys' insight a lot over the past few years.

I was just watching the news on KSL and they had an interview of the Jazz head scout, Walt Perrin. He was being asked about Enes and Brandon. When speaking of Brandon he said,

"We believe he will be a great leader for our franch...a franchise."

I wouldn't read too much into it, but maybe a slip of words. But, interesting to say the least.

Don't let this guy fool you, he changes a few of the words.

The accurate quote from Walt was " Uhh and umm We think he could eventually be a pretty good leader for....uh a franchise."

He said Uhhh every few words so he didn't give anything away.

see the video in the link below at about the 9:35 mark

Yup, @9:35 it proves my point.

No, he doesn't say "our" and he doesn't use the word "great" and he doesn't stutter on the word franchise like you suggested in your OP.

He does not say "our", or even start to say it.

"We believe he could eventually be a pretty good leader for....uhhh....a franchise."

I did notice Perrin was fidgeting a lot more and smiling more when talking about Kanter. Overall he seemed more excited. Take it with a grain of salt.

I don't hear "our" in front of the "uhh.....a franchise"

I don't feel any closer to knowing who the Jazz will select with the 3 after that interview.

He clearly says, "we'll be drafting Brandon Knight to our... uhhh... the Utah Jazz's franchise as the 3rd pick in the 2011 NBA draft on Thursday, June 23rd at approximately 7:42 eastern standard time."

That's what I heard... don't argue with me.

And I thought he had pretty good body language talking about Knight. Didn't sense the same about Kemba or Jimmer. Then again, I'm a lousy poker player.

The only thing I learned from that video is that the Jazz are debating between Kanter and Knight

I already knew that though..........

Another wrinkle: I ran the video backwards and he clearly says "Brandon killed the walrus" at the 3:02 minute mark. Does this mean the trade will involve Milsap?
