Warriors and Jazz Mega Trade

First time posting about this:

1- What 2nds are involved?

2- the 2017 might end up being better than the 2014 pick.

3- Please please please let Jack sign anywhere else.

My understanding is that Golden State had to renounce rights to Jack in order to pull off this trade. He is likely gone elsewhere.

Just to get Andre Iguodala on a team with 2 promising, ultra young wings? Hmm.

GM'n ain't easy, apparently.

Jack was HUGE to Curry's success.

To me the whole value of this trade hinges on Jack being back. Their bench is thin, and too many of thier players are recovering from injuries.

Curry has bad ankles, Andre Iguodola has an achillies problem, Lee has a new hip, Festus Ezellie is out for 6 months with a knee injury, Bogut is part cyborg...funny isn't it that it is Thompson who likes the whacky weed but he is the only one of the bunch that can't get a prescription in California for it.

I'm fine with this trade now, having calmed down and looked at the details. The 14 pick being unprotected made this a good "gamble" of a trade.

Golden State is such a fragile team and I would not be shocked to see both Bogut and Curry miss good chunks of time with injuries. I don't think Iggy is all that great either. Now that it looks like they aren't getting Howard (maybe that's been announced already...haven't listened to the radio since 5 pm or so) it wouldn't shock me to see them have enough injuries to be not as good as they were last year. And maybe a few teams like Minnesota or something has a better year than expected and that's the difference to send them to the lottery.

My biggest beef with the trade when it was announced is that I thought the Jazz could do better than this with the cap space they have. But what do I know, maybe they couldn't.

I don't like Minnesota. It's going to be fun watching them make the ayoffs this year, have everyone jump on their bandwagon as they try to find the next OKC, and have them call apart the next year as Utah storms back to life. Ha ha.

Every one started off in a panic, Thriller may have committed suicide, then we found out about the picks and Rush. Some people were elated, others said we should have gotten Barnes. Then reality hit and we realized we got two unprotected firsts in two amazing drafts by a fringe playoff team. Most people love Lindsay again. The rollercoaster ride of a Jazzfan.

That was pretty much me. Though I was conscious enough of my insanity to realize it at the time and put a disclaimer.

I am so excited for this up and coming year!!!

Last year we all found out Corbin is a tard. But I was unsure of the front office. I wasn't sure if they saw how great Kanter and Favors were.

Now I fully trust the front office. Obviously I might criticize here and their but over all I love it!

Our young guys get for sure playing time. And the guys we traded for we can actually use. The free agent class sucked so this works. I love Brandon Rush. Such an underrated player. I keep posting it but I am not sure everyone realized he shot 45% from 3 and has a 6-11 wingspan.
They made the roster so its idiot proof for Corbin so he knows who to play. And the draft picks are amazing! They robbed the warriors. There is always a high chance Curry and Bogut go down with injuries.
Also if for some reason the Warriors play great next year......... We have a pick for 2017 so it balances out. We were smart in making sure 1 of the picks pans out.

lookin at it wrong

The problem with the Jazz thinking this will be a tank year that will pay dividends later is that the core 5 are better than the front office believes .they think we were competitive because of Jefferson and milsap and now think its tank time without them.problem is they are wrong and this tank team will be good enough to ruin their tank dreams.I dont like this deal at all.its stating they dont think the core 5 are as good as last years jeff-milsap team.

Jazz aren't going to lose games because their starters aren't high caliber. They will lose games because 1/4 of the game is played by the bench and the jazz will have the worst bench maybe in the whole league. Don't look at it like we're ok because kanter and favors are replacing sap and al, whose going to replace kantor and favors off the bench. Prediction: jazz season .500 at the end of the first 1/4 but only .300 at the end of the 4/4.

whose going to replace kantor and favors off the bench noone. they didn't lose their starting lineup they lost all depth. prediction:jazz season .500 at the end of 1/4 and .300 at the end of four.

You are smarter than that.

Bro! You weren't here when this **** went down! There was about 15 min where it was Jefferson, biedrins, and a player to be named. Then, it was reported that the player was Rush. Was a full 20 min before we heard we got a pick, then another 20 til we knew we got 2 picks. Hours later we found out about the picks being unprotected and the 2nd rounders.
I was convinced the player to be named had to be Thompson or Barnes. Was a little shellshocked.

It's obvi a killer trade

This all happened. Confirmed. Everyone thought we were getting Barnes or Klay.

I was at work. I was taking a **** and used that as an opportunity to check my phone. And got the first tidbits, then got the detes on the pick out on the floor and actually squealed and jumped.

Anyway, the point of my comment was reinforcing you. Giving you praise. Lindsey is smarter than that, and so are/were you.
