Marvin Williams single handedly lost this game for us in the 3rd. Every bucket was scored on him, every missed shot was missed by him, every turnover was caused by him.

And it just kept happening over and over until he was benched. Sadly, we couldn't recover.

But Corbin didn't assemble this hodge podge of NBA Castaways and call it a team.

On the other hand he does continue to play the Veterans until he was forced by injuries to play the better players.

On the other hand, he was probably anticipating that several of the Veterans were being showcased for a mid season trade.

On the other hand his job is to win and you win with talent.

On the other hand his bosses seemingly told him the young players needed to 'earn' minutes by sitting.

On the other hand......he works for the Jazz and nothing is going to happen.

I agree. He needs to be benched. DeMarre Carroll needs to be put into the starting lineup. All Marvin is doing right now for Jazz when he is on the court is hurting the team. We also need Mo Williams back BIG TIME. Earl Watson should not even be getting playing time. Randy Foye was just off tonight and he has been off for a while now. Getting Mo back will solve a lot of our problems in the back court. Not to mention that we are still without our leading scorer (Jefferson), despite how we feel about him as a player. The Jazz have the best front court in the NBA right now and it is not even close. We just had three front court players get double-doubles in one game and we, again, are without arguably our best front court player. However, Marvin Williams NEEDS to be benched. Maybe it would send a message to him.
 
Marvin's been getting messages since he came in the league. The guy just isn't that good. Yeah, he has talent but he doesn't have the competitive drive to make the best use of it -- he's the total opposite of DeMarre Carroll who never gives up and has made himself into a good player through hard work and determination.
