The Mayo Clinic website says the average stay on the sideline for DM's injury is between six and sixty days depending on severity. I will be amazed if he plays game 6.
We need something… I think both guys are slightly better attacking close outs and both guys are playing better defense right now. They might get more looks playing with the starters. I think the energy component is big.I super love Juancho and House, but neither have been good offensively this series. Royce is actually getting up more shots per minute and shooting a higher percentage than house (he's actually 3rd highest 3pt attempts on the team on the 2nd highest 3pt percentage). But I don't know, just a change and their energy could spark something.
As much as I love Conley, I think he's the one that needs reduced minutes. You aren't going to be able to impact a lot with the usage that Royce is getting, but might be able to impact a lot more with replacing Conley's usage.
Hey, first line of OP definitely says this is not an optimism thread. I'm not saying that I feel we'll win because I'm optimistic.I admire your optimism and it's definitely not over, just hard to see if this team can have that killer instinct.
Looking at how negative Royce has been this series... I think you need to swap him out for Juan or House and really limit his time out there. Both guys seem more decisive and better on offense and I think Juan both could switch on to Luka allowing Bojan to rest a bit.
Knowing Quin we will do nothing different.

It likely doesn’t matter either way… I think we are cooked. We needed to be up 2-1 in games they didn’t play with Luka. 3-0 preferably but I thought that was optimistic. We lost the series when we didn’t have any killer instinct. Now Luka is back and in a rhythm… it’s over.
I would keep the starting lineup but start with the ball in Don's hands instead of Conley. We are too predictable.I'd love to try a starting lineup of Don/Clarkson/Bogey/Juancho/Rudy in game 6. It gives us more length and athleticism, JC would give us the scoring punch we need and Juancho would help the defense.
I think his usage is part of the problem… he just gets ignored and doesn’t hurt them in any way for ignoring him. It's worth a try and honestly Quin should be trying everything in an elimination game. If it works it feels more like voodoo magic though. It's hard to make a big difference by just replacing an 8% usage player. We really need our high usage guys to be better.
But if the high usage guys mostly have sucked, replacing an almost no-usage player with a player that has higher usage might take some bad shots out of our disappointing players’ hands? It's worth a try and honestly Quin should be trying everything in an elimination game. This isn’t a positivity thread. This isn’t about there being evidence that we should win, because there isn’t. This isn’t because we have a winning mentality, because we don’t. It’s not because I think there are reasons to be optimistic, because there aren’t. Just a feeling. And I feel we’ll win despite all those things, and not actively because of us. That’s a big blow out last night that changes emotion for Dallas. They may feel fairly comfortable and in the driver’s seat and, even if losing game 6, feel comfortable in what they’ve shown thus far to close things out. I think they could drop game 6 pretty easily, and before game 7 realize they’re in an elimination game and go toe-to-toe with the best team in the league for who can collapse the most. We just may be the biggest beneficiary and, as the winds blow from the karma gods, we just may see ourselves left standing.

Got to admit I was looking forward to seeing what Butler and NAW could give us! Just tell me that Forrest will be available at least. So he got a solid knee to the thigh and it hurts a lot. He should play through that. I thought he was grabbing his hammy which would mean he's out. I guess this is good news.

I will totally wish ill will on them for you, don't worry. Gotcher back brah.If I have to see Brunson and doncic mean mugging us again I'll probably spontaneously combust. I usually don't wish ill will on other players but if Luka gets planted firmly on his a$$ I'm not going to be disappointed.
