They ain’t trading Beal unless the current GM is fired or they get a huge overpay. We can bury that idea. He is playing so well and their team is winning enough to justify the GM sitting on his hands and gunning for the 8 seed.

I doubt they even move OP unless they got something that’d be viewed as an overpay.

I honestly feel they are more likely to trade their pick than one of those guys.

I think Beal is the best player out there who might be attainable. Since we don't attract All Star calibur free agents, I'm not really sure we can send a bad offer as long as we hold onto DM, Gobert, and Ingles.

So really, I think Washington might be able to get a better deal out there for Beal. It would involve a better player than Exum and/or better picks than what ours is supposed to be.

I agree about Beal. I have a hard time believing they trade him.

We will see about OP. Still think he is the one that goes between him, Beal and Wall.

The Wiz would be dumb enough to trade their pick. At the very least, they need to get out of the luxury.

Parsons had 1 year 25M left after this year... Love has 4/120 after this year... parsons is reportedly healthy enough to play right now... Love is not.

I see what you are saying but still think Loves deal is horrendous given his age and injury history.

Not to mention everything out of Cavs front office seems to indicate they feel they should get a bunch of assets in a Love trade.

Common sense says they’d take expirings. But common sense also would have said don’t sign that extension last summer, so I have no idea what they’re thinking. Maybe they were so traumatized by LeBron’s non-commital and threat of abandonment that they’d jump into bed with anyone and try to get pregnancy to solidify the relationship.

No idea what the thinking was... he was under contract another year... I would have thought he had more trade value without the extension. Think it was a big misread on the market. Say they offered 4/100... I think love still takes that... at very least they should have pushed harder. I believe they could have waited until around the trade deadline to do the deal they did. So even if he was “blowing up” worst case offer 4/120 and im guessing he’d still take it then.

Strange strange move.
 
It is very unfortunate for us and the Cavs that they signed him to that extension. I would have sacrificed a 1st for Love's expiring just to see if he fit well with what we need. Now, I doubt Cleveland can get a 1st and I want nothing to do with that stupid contract.

He would have been a good plan B for this offseason if nothing else. Miss on Tobias and Middleton and I think you could have had Love on a 4/80ish type deal.

Better deals? We should thank our lucky stars if we can get Beal if it means taking on that scrub.
