What's new

We got Atlantas PG!

This is a nice little trade in the sense that Mack is probably a better player than the 2nd round pick would have got.

Probably, but here are some players who were taken mid to late 2nd round in the last few years. E Moore, C Parsons, Lavoy Allen, Jordan Clarkson, K Middleton, Joe Young, W Barton, Jokic, D Powell, Whithey, Muscala, Lauvergne, O'Quinn and to top it off the 60th pick I Thomas. Also a bunch of intl guys most of whom will probably never step foot in the NBA, but a few who will be good rotation players. I was good and did not list Draymond Green since he was towards the beginning of the second.

I like Mack, but his shooting is a concern. Not sure what it means for Trey, His dad has twittered and leaked the Trey Camp into a weak corner. Hope the best for Trey. He has not responded well to being second string, I don't know how he will respond to possibly being third string.

As a fan of the Jazz I'm hoping for the best.
Regarding the bolded portion, what do you think he has done wrong? I think he has responded very well.

Interesting Mack fact: In Adding Shelvin to our roster, we have doubled our teams total playoff experience in terms of games played.

In terms of great news, it means that any talk of Jimmer being added to the Jazz should over for this season. That alone is worth a 2nd round pick.

Wow, I totally forgot that Danny Manning was the first overall pick.

Manning was probably the best all-around college player that I've ever seen. He was pretty much a one-man show at KU when they won their national championship in 87.

People forget how good he was with all his injuries early on.

No doubt you can get a good to great player in the 2nd round. But it's not close to being the norm.

Favors and filler (to make salaries match) for griffin?

If the Jazz traded a great player and great teammate like Favors for that *******, I would stop watching Jazz basketball. Hitting a "friend" half your size. Keep it classy, Blake. Either steroids or a lover's spat.
