We must get Nash.

This is the first trade idea I've ever posted to this site, but I feel like this needs to happen.

Harris, Millsap, Bell to PHX.

Childress and Nash to UT.

Nash has at least two good years left in him and we've got a good chance at another lottery pick next year thanks to Golden State. Now is the time to go for it. I love Paul and Harris, but they couldn't lead a horse to water in the middle of a hurricane. Nash knows how to win and makes everyone around him better.

Because Nash has one more year on his contract and will just leave the Jazz to chase a championship...

Dude, what about Nash's character points to that kind of behavior? Here's a newsflash, the Championship is about to be routed through Utah. We've got the youngest and most athletic core of any team in the league. Adding Nash makes us instant contenders.

It's actually a pretty good trade that I'd consider though giving up Millsap and Harris, as the successor to Nash, is quite a bit. I think we could get a 2nd rounder or two out of it too maybe.

Nash-Watson
Hayward-Burks
Childress-Miles-Evans
Jefferson-Kanter
Favors-Okur

I just got an email from a coworker saying that that they heard from Larry Millers granddaughter that Milsap and Harris were traded for Nash. So I get online to find out if this has been rumored anywhere and then only see this. I've never heard anything about the Jazz from this person and she just said in the email she thought I'd be interested since she knew I am such a big Jazz fan.

Weird.

I can't believe you're agreeing with me. I suddenly feel pretty good about myself.
I love Paul, but he's a liability on defense and has shown time and time again that he can't last an entire season going full throttle. He's also redundant and right now he's a huge bargaining chip. Get while the gettin's good.

Instant contenders? Please tell me what brand of glue you've been sniffing cause I want some. IF Kanter develops, IF Favors develops, IF Hayward develop...maybe we're contending for the division title in a couple of years. Right now we don't know if any of those three are even going to be starters. We think they have the potential. Twenty-nine other teams think the same about their young players. Millsap for a declining Nash? No thanks. I'd take Brandon Knight or Kemba Walker over Nash for this team.

No,no,no! Nash has one year left on his contract, then he is heading to a team competing for a championship. You may say he could help us win in that one year, well the chance of a lockout takes any wind out of that argument. So what we end up is trading our hardest worker (Millsap) and a good point guard in Harris for Josh Childress. So once again No,no,no!!!!

A decent start for you but I'm in complete disagreement in that proposal. The Jazz do need a better PG but first of all; Nash is old, has never been even average on defense, and has always played for teams that preferred up-tempo game or gave him huge freedom on controlling the sets -if there were any- and selections as well as tempo, which raises concerns about whether he can be as efficient and effective as he has been, when dictating a low-tempo, systematic offense and, secondly; there is no PG in the NBA who can clearly be considered an upgrade over Dwill. I understand the overall unhappiness with the current PG depth and quality but I'm sure any fan of any other team would feel the same way in the same conditions.

I'd trade Harris for Nash but not Millsap and Harris that's just plain idiotic.

Trade Jefferson for salary cap relief. Then once Okur is off the books then sign CP3 to a max deal.

Hayward is a stud. Favors is a stud. Kanter will be a stud. Imagine how much studlier those three would be if Nash was creating for them?

I got an e-mail from a Nigerian prince telling me the same thing. The only hang up is that the Jazz need $10,000 to submit the paperwork through their attorneys to the league office. Unfortunately, the Millers don't have the necessary credit right now; it's all tied up in some construction project. So the Nigerians were contacted to act as middle men. Well, they're having trouble due to Homeland Security restrictions getting the money to Greg. So they asked if I could facilitate the deal. I've been promised $100,000 once the deal closes. I'm heading off to the bank now to wire the money.

I'd do Bell for Childress.
Phoenix wants out of Childress' contract and Childress fills the Kirilenko-void at small forward.
Bell was a quiality player for Phoenix.
