What's new

We will all be "going pretty good" when you are fired

Collectively, the TEAM lost those games but Corbin made damn sure he was the headline more often than not. What say you in your defense? I don't see anything in Corbin. Well, I do, but it's all bad. He is a nice guy, though. He's stupid as a rock, but a nice guy.

Makes me think of what everyone said about Brandon Doman last year- nice guy not a very good coach.

I'd say we get no offense when Favors is on the floor, we get no defense when Al is on the floor... When they're together, the Jazz do very poorly strangely enough. Kanter and Favors deserve more time, but we live in reality, and the reality is that we have Al Jefferson and Paul Millsap and we're paying them $22m a year to play for us. Unfortunately Ty isn't perfect, but he's in a tough position. I think we have to face it, this team is not that good yet and we're expecting big changes, but we'll have to wait until the off season to see them.

It's not even that. Corbin isn't even doing the simplest of things. For example, Al Jefferson gets doubled and he forces up shot after shot.. meanwhile, on the other end, he's getting absolutely demolished on defense. More often than not, with this scenario, Corbin runs his normal rotations no matter what's going on. This team has good bench depth and sometimes players just don't bring their game on certain nights.. give someone like Kanter a chance if Al is off. I believe Corbin's situational awareness is lacking. It's the simple things he doesn't do. Don't get me wrong, he has moments where he does the right things, but he's far too inconsistent. This is just one of our many gripes, as fans.

Well, I guess we just disagree. LOL

I suggest we ignore that Corbin loving troll who's clearly feeding off the attention we are giving him. I certainly will.

Your whole rationale for us not putting the cause of this fail season on Corbin, is that because Al and Paul make $22million a year, Corbin can't sit them on the bench when they start to suck?

I think you're proving that because Corbin is a ball-less coach, "he's in a tough position" when it comes to rotations and not having the guts to sit the two overpaid vet clowns.

The few idiots on here who still stand by Corbin....unbelievable

It hurts to have a few select members personally attacking those with differing opinions like you do in every one of your posts. It cuts deep, and bullying is not good for the community.

It's also $22M that is coming off the books. I could defend you a bit using this argument up to the trade deadline (have to keep their value). I could see you using this argument IF the Jazz are planning on trying to re-sign them. If that happens, I'm done! I can't take another season of Al and Paul.

"Ty Corbin knows what he's doing."

I think Corbin is thinking is very short sighted. He says all the time he is doing what's best for the team to win NOW, not in the future. Our strength is in our future, our youth. Sometimes you have to take a step back to take a giant leap forward...I don't think Corbin knows this

Except that larry isn't simply offering an opposing opinion. He is trolling. He is trying to get the reactions he's getting. He will just respond to posts attacking Corbin with one liners like "I disagree brah" or **** like "Corbin is probably the best coach in history". As you can imagine, a few hundred such posts later, it starts to get tedious.

Chill out.
