I think the idea of an enforcer is a bit overrated. While watching guys like Dillon Brooks in the 1st round was extremely annoying, I think the Grizz did us a pretty big favor by playing us physical. I think we saw the Jazz respond with some physical play of their own, and I was extremely impressed by how the Jazz didn’t let a guy like Brooks get in their head.

I think a team like the Clips can cause a lot of issues for the Jazz, but the Jazz not having an enforcer certainly isn’t one of them. On the flip side, the Clippers just let a team with 1 star give them all sorts of problems in route to a 7 game series.

If the Jazz play their game, they’re gonna be just fine.

Don’t get me wrong, if we could have Crowder in favor of Niang for 10-15 mins a night, I’d be all over it but there’s a slight problem with that considering that we’re over the cap and Crowder would cost us $9.2 mil compared to Niang’s $1.7.

Yes, Crowder’s attitude does bring value, and he did have 2 really good games vs the Lakers, but let’s not forget the fact that Crowder can shoot you out of a series pretty damn fast. Hell, we’ve seen that first hand.
