1.on federal land which obummer controls oil extraction was DOWN
2.on state and private land which obummer has virtually NO CONTROL over oil extraction was UP!
it has nothing to do with OBUMMER!

I'm not saying Obama did it I am just countering your argument that the administration has that much impact on the market or science.

Same will happen with Trump. He will push for coal but solar will continue to grow each year due to the market.

of-course solar will grow, that's technology.
i am against the government pushing 1 technology over another.

its like if the union of ice makers, went to the government to hinder the refrigerator business. because it will get the gov more votes.
so more regulation for refrigerator manufacturers and less regulation and subsidies for the ice makes.

not against tax breaks *****. taxation is theft in my book. wish if someone comes over and robs me would say you know what, i robbed every other person in the street, gonna give you a robbing break. i would love it if the robber says you know what instead of 10% pay me 5%. cant blame anyone for that.

unless the tax break is actually subsidizing the oil industry. yes i know a tax break is technically a form of subsidy, dont know how else to say it.
in my book tax break = "pay less taxes then normal"
subsidy = "here take some money i stole from the people"

about his plans to save coal depends on how he does it, how it happens.
i like free markets. but these people are victims of the government intervening in the free market.
i think if regulations are reduced and the federal governments steps away, and let true market forces apply i would like that.
i;m all for it

So the largest incentive for solar is the 30% federal tax credit that can be used by a solar investor or even a homeowner. So you have no problem with solar incentives then?


The reason that coal is in trouble is because of the free market. New technology in fracking has made natural gas less expensive than coal.

So why should Trump use tax dollars of hard working Americans to save an industry that can't compete in a free market?

naah how about nasa temperature data used to show that for 18 years, 18 fricking years the temperature shows was shown flat, except for 1998 which had an extreme increase because of "el nino". they use to call it global warming pause, but one day the datat and graph changed out of nowhere, nasa doctored it. and now thos e18 years show increases every year

there should be no tax dollars used to save one market from another.
for example elon musk has gotten billions of dollars (think billions is right we Europeans go about million, milliard, billion etc different) in subsidies. is trhat fair someone who works for GMC, has to pay tax so that the competition could thrive and grow.
this system of spreading out tax dollars to industry also got coal in trouble!


so yeah now that injustice is done it is hard to fix. coal might have been able to compete, might have been able to come up with a free market new solution. but the meddling of the government is also a factor that screwed it up.
so yeah those people are mad at government. look trump is not the best candidate out there. i was for rick perry, cruz and carson. heck all other republican candidates and even jim web are a better choice than trump.
if today free market decided renewable are more proffitable than coal gass oil. i'm ok with that.

problem is with obama meddling this is not true. opec is reducing oil production. so america should beef up production so the price keeps lowering.

that some year int he 30's was armest of century. but then they said 1998 was warmest.

the previous data before it was doctored showed a COOLING.

thats why the name had been changed from global cooling, to global warming too now "climate change"
