With all the debate over Gordon's contract and his future with the Jazz, no one thought to welcome him back after the Jazz matched his offer. I think he deserves a welcome back from this board. Because whether you like it or not, he's going to be a crucial piece to the team going forward.

He wrote a very nice blog post today highlighting some very positive things about the Jazz and his career.

We like you Hayward. We will love you if you hit 40% of your 3's and stay close to last year for the rest.

Let's forego the welcome backs and instead just forgive him now for his performance during the entire month of November 2014.

I do think it'll be interesting to see if the contract helps G-money get more calls, and change the way he is treated as a player in the NBA. He really is a good dude who works hard and acts like a professional... Maybe officials will give him more of a star treatment.

I think Hayward could use an editor on his blog.
 
I love the greedy comments... Every poster on here would take the extra money... every damn one!

G-time don't start slow this year.... Jazzfanz will melt if you do.
 
The problem Gordon has is no lateral quickness or first step. He needs to quite doing the poly metrics at P3 because I think they are making him slower. He needs to train like a Boss to build explosive powers. Quickness will come too and if it does not he can bully players like Matt Harpring for favors.

I've always like hayward. Was waiting to see how the contract played out, now I can go buy a Hayward jersey and get a few years out of it hopefully.
