Can't believe there isn't a thread on this yet. Guess Beeds demon smut we had to take with him kinda tainted the spirits a bit..

I'm really excited to nab this two way player with a killer three point shot. I've been following him ever since a bunch of us went on that GST site to troll 'em a bit. They loved him and plenty of posters were saying he should start over the young draft picks because he earned it and was a stud.

Brandon Rush will make the pain of Machelle Williams go away.

I'm excited to have brandon rush.
Much better to have him get minutes over the core 4 than roger braille, wet bandit, josh howard, or randy foye.
If he starts over burks I won't even complain...

Hey, why not. If nothing else he will get time over Jefferson, and that's good news....

However, looking at some of his game footage, he might just contribute a bit to winning.

Really.... Really! Aren't you the one always saying Burks is an Allstar talent! Either you don't know what your saying, or you don't like Burks as much as you used to. Which is it?
 
Not sure why he was grabbing at a pushing Bogut. Hopefully he a is a better team than that when he is not in pain.

Ya and I think burks is a stud and should start and get more minutes than rush.... my feelings in burks have not changed.
But I like rush a lot better than the other chumps that have been taking his minutes which I why I said I wouldn't complain much.... I would still complain mind you, just not as much as the last 2 years

I kind of liked him being ticked, sure I hope he isn't that way all the time, but the team needs a little fire.
 
not sure if this was brought up about rush in other threads,

the reason given for him being old for his draft class, was he spent a year inbetween high school and college at a prep school, specifically to work on his jumpshot.

also not sure if this was brought up but Brandons older bro Kareem used to play in the NBA, was a projected top 10 guy that fell to 20.

his eldest bro, JaRon is one of the original poster children for "dont declare too early"... he hit a game winner vs #1 Stanford when he played for ucla, thought he was going to be a 1st round lock as a sophomore and didnt get drafted.

so yeah i think rush wll be focused, as he has been for years, i hope his injuries havent slowed him too much, this was a player who threw down many many viscous dunks in college, im most interested to see how he fits at SF, and defends the perimeter
 
didn't know he was older than the wet bandit, but seems like a good kid who has avoided trouble off the court and has made it due to dedication. i hope the fans here embrace him. he seemed sad on twitter hearing about the trade, kinda in the way that felt like "i've done what i can to impress and prove myself here, contributed in the way you wanted, and you send me away in a salary dump? i thought i was worth more than that to you guys." probably extrapolating a bit too much, but i am excited for him, although his peak physical years may be behind him.
 
rush's last month of playing, april of last year (during the tank)

54% shooting on 9.3 attempts per, 47% 3pt shooting...
