What's new

Well this is the smartest thing I've read lately

It's only one contract.

But the quote doesn't make it sound like he's very confident. Maybe the Jazz find another job for him in the organization.

I like Ty. I would not be opposed to him staying with the Jazz organization. Not a coach. Would he be insterested in FO duties?

As long as he doesn't have any say in trades and whatnot. I could just see him trading away young, cheap talent for expensive old crappy vets.

Make corbin the new utah jazz fashion designer/advisor. He just looks so good in those nice suits

Most coaches aren't going to want to work with the guy that was the previous HC. I hope that if they fire Ty, they don't keep him around in a coaching aspect.

Last week on undercover boss I learned that Lowe moonlights as one of the guys that puts the floor together for the Jazz. Sydney just got promoted to a manager (Greg did that on the show) so maybe Lowe can pull some strings and get Corbin on the floor crew? If that doesn't work then I'm sure the Dunk Team could use some diversity (too many white guys).

this move = the right path
Da Tank will benefit from this as well, now that future concerns of coach Corbin are gotten rid of1

I think Ty seems like a nice guy as well...but I don't think the Jazz need to feel sorry for him and give him a front office job he's not qualified for. Ty wears big boy pants, he'll be okay...he'll find another coaching gig somewhere, maybe not as an NBA head coach, but there's always college, NBDL, and high schools looking for coaches.
