good advertisements, jazz dancers, season ending injuries.
That's about all that matters in preseason games.

Its preseason game 1. I'd be surprised if any starter plays over 25 minutes. With the Jazz being legit 12 deep, I would be very surprised to see 13-18 getting a tremendous amount of burn. I think you are just likely to see Lyles, Neto, and Withey getting a lot of time as opposed to the d-league fodder. The final roster is already known and the other guys know that they are here to play on the D-League team.
1) Exum's body and confidence.
2) How Joe Johnson, Gordon Hayward and Rodney Hood work together.
3) How George Hill runs the offense.
These were pretty much my three as well.

Exum, Exum, and Exum.
His play will decide the long-term future of this team. If he comes back close to the form he showed us in summer league, then the future looks bright. We have a lot of solid players on this team; we just need a competent point guard at both ends of the floor. George Hill can get us through the next 2-3 years, but Exum needs to become one of the league's elite pg's if we are ever going to challenge for a championship.
In general I think there is very little to learn in preseason games and even less this year for the Jazz. The one thing that I think Quinn will be tinkering with and watching for is Chemistry. Who plays well together in what situations. Everything else he needs to know he is learning in practice
1. Exum. How improved is he.
2 pace of offense
3. Can Hayward truely be the man. Want to see how big he is. Does added weight hurt or help his game.
