What's new

What do Jazzfanz do professionally (...assuming they have jobs) ?

Yup, I need a bachelor's degree as well, if I want to get into med school (which I am actually strongly considering). Unfortunately, I am just poorly handling my situation of actually picking courses that I am interested in, for the first time in my life. Up until this point, I always took classes that I was "required" to take; now, this lack of structure is kind of worrisome to me.

I was thinking of majoring in physiology, and Im trying to enrol in physiology this september. How difficult is it? Computer Science is seriously not up my alley, but Biology might be. Im basically torn in a three-way battle between Physics, Biology, and Chemistry. I will end up majoring in two- I just don't know which ones, at the moment.

Becoming a physical therapist might intrigue you, that's what I'm doing. You can get a bachelor's in anything but there are pre-req's for the program. So rather than waste your time go for exercise science. https://www.health.utah.edu/ess/und... Science Academic Completion 2012-Present.pdf
Here's a link to the courses for the University of Utah, however, you have to add those 2 gen chem and physics courses (pre-req's).

Just got a new job in the marketing dept of Symantec. Literally tripled my salary. Which only means I am now lower middle class.

Has your name ever appeared in movie credits?

Like the other thousands of employees here, no. Almost everyone you see in the credits are freelancers (actors, writers, cameramen, make-up, wardrobe, effects, etc). I'm interested in production accounting, which is also freelancing and deals with the actual budgeting of the films, that would be in the credits.

As an accountant, I think that would be one of the coolest things ever, along with working for a pro sports team/league in the finance department.

I've wondered, if production studios take 100% deductions for those food spreads they put out for the staff and talent?

I talk a lot. They fly me around to different places to talk to people. Then these people smile and clap and then I fly somewhere else and talk a lot. And I get paid to do it. I have to admit... pretty good gig.
