I'm at a loss how anyone, even the Ty homers, can give him anything above an average score (C).

Corbin lead this team to a double whammy. No playoffs and stunted development for our young players.

I am tired of people giving him credit for "holding a locker room full of free agents together." Nice job Ty, we missed the playoffs and you just gave the majority of playing time to guys who wont be here next year, "high five" idiot. The young players were in a no-win situation considering they were hardly playing and they couldn't say anything or they would be killed by the media.

I wouldn't be surprised to see our young players decline extensions and opt for QO's. If I were them I would seriously consider it, so that:

A. I wouldn't have to play for a moron like Ty who isn't good at anything and

B. so I wouldn't have to play for an organization that let this all happen the way that it did.

Ty is a clown and should be gone already, but the Jazz are stubborn and loyal to a fault.

He might coach in the D- League or in the WNBA but definitely not in the NBA.

He is an NBA assistant coach at best and nothing more.

I voted C- before I read the comments. Then I saw NUMBERICA and GVC's comments and wished I could vote C- again.

Did Mo run the offense better?

Did Al increase his defensive presence?

....the biggest problem with Corbin as coach is not that he was given a chance.....but that the FO extended his contract without seeing any tangible results! When you reward incompetence things do not get better.

Why is it ignorant? The poster makes valid points. More ignorant to use the excuse that he played the vets to maintain locker room harmony. The vets are supposed to be pros. If they don't get the playing time, they can just move on as they all had expiring contracts, except for Marvin.

Make a thread about how mo ran the offense and about marvins improvement and we will give them F's also

how can you grade mo an f for running alfense.
dont see how you can give him an f.
he was given no system to succeed.
it was dump it down to al every other possesion. and with the other half do as you please.
so other than his injury mo gets an A.

cus if i was a pointguard and was told to dump it down to al every other possesion.
the other half i would combine hero ball with 5-6 assist.

MO DESERVES an A+.

I agree with this. The season we had was the worst possible outcome. We did not play the youth (and best players) enough and we did not make the playoffs making it all worth while. So the young guys don't play as much as they deserved while also not getting the added benefit of playoff experience.
 
If he had got 5 more wins he would have had the Jazz in the 6th seed and that would have got him a B. He missed the playoffs(barely) and didn't even develop the young guys in the process. Not a total disaster but not great either. I went C-
