We miss out on the playoffs but somehow still win the lottery. Who do you pick? Is it nerlens Noel so we can have another version of favors? I say trade the pick for two lower picks and get trey burke and adetokunbo. Think his could happen that we win the lotto? Is it dumb to trade the number one pick if we do?

trading up for a better pick is definatly a good option in my mind ... but its said to be kinda a weak draft .. we do really need a good proven veteran coach in the worst way from what i've seen .. I really dont think making the playoff is any good since we have almost 0 chance of getting anywhere

I won't/can't pick anyone. I'm just a fan.

well, I am the gm, and I just wanted to see what the fans wanted. So I came to this armchair gm site and wanted to see what the fans wanted.

Obviously I know that I can't pick anyone, but what would you do if you were in that situation?

I'd take Porter or Smart.

I would probably try my best to trade down to the 3rd or 4th spot though.

I bet we could trade down and get porter and a nice piece from someone. By the way, you sold me on porter from an earlier post. He looks good.

Your killing me trade away a chance to feature a lineup of Noel and Favors! Hello top defense in the NBA!! Add in Hayward Kanter Carroll and Burks..... Talking all time great defense! You really want to pass that up!

Yeah, that would be rad. Also, it would help our tank next year, as Noel will be out most of the year with his tore up knee...

You draft Noel. No brainer. You get rid of Corbin. No brainer. You then play Kanter, Favors and Noel 30+ mins a night at the 4/5 spots. You then trade Burks for a solid pg and Marvin grows into his potential as a #2 pick. You then proceed to win 8+ titles in a row with the greatest front line ever. Your front line sets NBA records, averaging 65 pts a night, 35 rebounds a night, and 8 blocks per night.

Utah Jazz make the OKC phenomena seem like a drop in the bucket. Utah Jazz hats suddenly appear in every new rap video.
