He's not even a has-been, he's a never-was. But like NUMBERICA said, he's a cap number and anything else is a bonus, like Ostertag used to be.
He lacks the focus and motor... If he has some, he could be a decent backup...
He had plenty of focus when he was playing for his first big contract back in 2008.
The guy signed a big deal and then his production fell off a cliff. He's Tag with a tan.
To be fair...The first year after his big contract his numbers even improved further. But after that he just regressed or got uninterested for whatever reason. Might be coaching, his personality or a mixture...But he definately should get the hooker snapshot on his locker. Motivation for his contract year. Good play leads to more and better hookers. And less STDs long term
Another reason for his regression might be the change of defense in the NBA. He's basically only able to convert dishes and boards on the offensive glass. Thus he suffers from the 2.9 defense and lack of athleticism. Help defense real terror these days.
Would you mind elaborating on that?
He's much more interested in hookers than basketball.

Biedrins is 6'11" with a 7'0.5" wingspan. He is an above average athlete. He is only 27. He can guard the 4 or the 5. He could become a very useful big man.
He had a great run from 2006-2009 when Don Nelson gave him confidence.
Why couldn't Malone or one of our coaches work with him to help him develop some confidence?
Maybe a new fanbase will be able to give him a chance to relax.
