David Locke said on NBATV that Gordon Hayward has a great chance of being the second option on a really good team and that Enes Kanter could be really really really good and that he has shown flashes that he could be special. It's cool that he said that to a national audience. What do you make of his comments on Kanter and Hayward, and please, understand that this is not a David Locke lets throw down on his name and call him a shill/tool thread... ha... haha ;)

Hayward needs to learn to shoot off the dribble if he ever wants to become a legit 2nd option.

I've said this since Kanter's 20/20.

Kanter will be a dominate player in a couple of years. He will be a top 3 big man.

If Hayward is our third best player, we will win a title. Hayward will be very good.

OKC had Durant, Westbrook, and HArden and didnt win a title.

If the F/O does their job this summer, we should see a lot more of the entire core four next year. Hayward had a sluggish start to this season due to his circumstances. He had to fight his way into the starting lineup where he deserves to be, but even in there he is criminally underutilized. It's amazing that he has had the success that he has had. If you look at the offense and the way that it is ran, Hayward only gets shots when he's running on the fast break (sometimes people like Mo won't even pass to him when he is the best option), or when the shot clock is winding down and the first three options failed. If he could get higher in the pecking order on the offense, his field goal percentage would rise, and it would help with the spacing of our offense for our bigs. I think Kanter and Hayward will both be stars.

Locke says a lot of things. Rarely are they worth anything.

Same could be said of pretty much every poster on this site. Yet if we are spending our time here then we're probably likely to waste time listening to Jazz media as well. We're all addicts.
