What player in NBA history is Steph Curry most like?

A lot of people say there has never been a player like Steph Curry. But then it occurred to me that there was a player much like Steph and he played in the 1950s when he was considered for several years until Wilt and the Big O came into the league as the best player in the NBA, Bob Cousy.

Cooz had the same great handle, was an even better passer, but not as good a shooter (no one was or is), though a great outside shooter from very deep who also could make trick shots and flips like Steph. I would say he is the closest comparison to Steph.

I don't think the NBA has seen anything like him before. The closest might be Pistol.

with his handle and shooting ability.

Honestly, to me, he's Steve Nash with Iverson's quickness.

Such a sick crossover. The way curry and Iverson can freeze defenders is uncanny.

Iverson trying to hang his nuts on that dude at 55 sec.= Thug Life.

I think defense wise he plays like Stockton. If Stockton had the scoring mentality of steph, he would have fit in very well in today's league.

Honestly steph to me is like stock with a shooting and scorers mentality.

His peak is definitely far better than what stock peeked at, but stock had such great longevity.

Not a bad choice....but how about Nate Archibal? He once led the NBA in scoring AND assists as a guard in the same year! But he never sustained it like Curry does! Archabal averaged 30 plus points a game and 10 assists the same season when he accomplished that feat!

....what you call a "sick crossover" is, in fact, a flagrant and blatant PALMING of the ball! There's a reason they can "freeze" the defender and make him look silly....he's PICKED up his dribble, scans the defenders leaning and THEN continues on with his dribble, leaving the defender scratching his head, since without having to dribble the ball, the defender cannot POSSIBLY stay in front of offensive player!
