Probably the best we could do would be Corey Joseph. A straight swap for Gay works but they would probably prefer a deal that included Doke as they’re so thin at center. In that scenario, Azubuike and Bolmaro fills the bill.

Of course Caruso would be great but I doubt he’s for sale.

THT is really the backup to Conley, but I could see NAW get some rotational minutes if Mike is out.
 
I'd love Caruso. Big fan. He'd fit so well on this team it would be a huge win for us. But we can't get him without giving up assets, and frankly he isn't what we need to get to the next level. So no, we shouldn't go after him or anyone else really. We are not in win now mode so no need to burn assets to try to save a few extra wins in a year we are supposed to be tanking anyway. Worst thing we could do right now would be to needlessly burn any of our excellent assets for the chance to win 46 games instead of 40. Same goes for Collins. Just fill in the gaps with our bench guys or g league. Burning assets now for these kinds of moves would be incredibly stupid.
 
You start THT. You'll lose some offensive ability, but you will make your defense that much more versatile. With THT in the starting lineup you can do a lot more switching and switch up coverages.

If teams are heavily cheating off THT and we aren't figuring out how to counter it, then you put in Sexton or Beasley for the offensive punch.
 
As others have said. Beasley, tht, sexton, naw.

Plus many of the tankers have been saying that they are cool with winning on the backs of our young guys and guys that might be here in 5 years. So this injury could be a good thing. Young guys have to step and develop. Cant rely on the old man now. Same with coach.

The possibilities are endless. But if we're playing a team with a legit PG who can score I would give NAW a chance to guard him.

I think he's the best fit as he can get us assists and defend.

Beasley at PG... I think it might take him out of his game, which as we know has been thriving as of late.

Beasley starting doesn’t mean he’s the pg… that would be JC. I just think he’s the most deserving of a starter role and increased minutes since he apparently morphed into prime Klay Thompson all of a sudden.

tbh as slow as Sexton has been compared to before the ruptured knee, I would rather see JC running the offense and use Beasley off ball. They can continue to mix in others if they compliment eachother.

Man it would be cool if Beasley can keep up a pace of 20+. Opponents would have to focus on him more when he is with first team, which creates space for JC especially.
