What Should We Do With Rubio?

Should Rubio go to the bench?

I'd rather have Exum and Favors. I think they are both options to re-sign. It's too much. When I said first round picks I meant 2, or 1 likely lottery pick.
Would you trade Hood, Favors, Exum, Burks and Rubio for Mirotic, Hill and Doucheward?

Can you just admit that you're a hater? Half of your posts are about how much Rubio sucks. Go find a hobbie, buy a big puzzle or learn to fly drones or something, there's more out there than hating on Rubio believe it or not.

Nope, I'm not a hater. I'm a realist. If you want me to tell you that the Utah Jazz point guard position is dropping Easter egg chocolate covered pooped peanut butter eggs laying in a basket of rainbows and mystery, that ain't gonna happen. I'd rather tell you the truth. Ricky Rubio's beard and hair has strangulated his brain, that's why he can't think thoughts no more. I recon we trade him for a the first set of used cheer leader pom pom's that we come across. I only say used that way we can smell what victory is like after he's gone.

Rubio is averaging 12ppg, on 40% fg, 4 rbs, 5ast, 2 stls. His FG is nearly on par with Hood. It's obvious that he's struggling in a new system but those are not bad numbers with a team changing it's rotation every game.

As CY said he can only get better as he gets use to his new change of style, pace and teammates.

Rubio is doing just fine overall. If Quinn trusts him and his teammates enjoy being on the floor with him, that's a better judgement on his play then stats during a transition year.

To say that he is doing just fine is an indication that you aren't watching games. I don't know how many runs Ricky has stopped with turnovers, dumb shots, and stupid decisions. He's had some good games and I think we've won all of them. But they are so far and few in between that he has become unreliable. For the most part, Quin plays him very little during the 4th quarter. While his play has improved some lately, I think the Jazz have to think about moving him and obtain an asset, if impossible, for him.

On the other hand, if he would stop shooting and just pass the ball when it's late in the shot clock and not do his futile one-on-one shenanigans (he almost never can finish at the rim), concentrate on defense and take better care of the ball, he could be functional. However, he seems reluctant to embrace that role. But I don't think he could be the point guard for a championship team.

This summer will be telling. He’s not historically been the type to work on his craft in the off-season. He’d rather just ball. If he does though, he could become a helluva player. I’m not holding my breath though.
