What will it take to get Bledsoe?

The thing I don't like about those highlights is that the Clippers are being blown out.

I can show you a TON of highlights of Al dominating a game we are down 15 in. The problem is, Al's overall game was usually why we were down 15.

You have to be so careful who you give 10 million to as a small market team.

Then Bledsoe is definitely your man. He can really attack the basket, meaning defender would have to collapse/chase after him - leaving Favors rolling to the basket for a dunk or Kanter for a pull up 12 footer.

Bledsoe will also bring that defensive intensity on perimeter our team has lacked for the past couple of years.

Also for those who doesn't think Bledsoe can pass / run a team, watch this video. Also playing/learning under a future HOFer in Chris Paul doesn't hurt neither.

For those who say "It's just One Game" - you can just go and join Ty Corbin's "One Game" club. He just hasn't been given the opportunity to shine. He had a number decent games while Paul was injured, but he did come back pushing Bledsoe back to the bench.

He's really the kind of young, exciting, fighting young player we need to pair up with Favors & Kanter.

Go look at his numbers after the All-Star game, very below-average backup PG numbers.

Mmmmmm.... can you imagine our perimeter defense with Bledsoe and Tony Allen?

You want defense then put Favors, Kanter, Hayward (or Marvin) Tony Allen and Bledsoe on the floor together. That is a nice looking group defensively.

For those of you that want Teague, what kind of $ are you going to give him?

For those that want Bledsoe, what are you willing to give up for him?

I agree with Cy on this. Bledsoe looked very ordinary post all-star break. I don't know if that speaks more to the fact that CP3 played more (I haven't checked MPG) or if Bledsoe was just coming back towards what he really is.

I think he will obviously be better with more minutes, but I still question if he is a legit starter.

I just wouldn't be willing to give up a lot to get him. If it's simply just a S&T with Sap and GSW's 1st rounder, then sure. But I suspect they want Burks.

Will Bledsoe be a Millsap? What I mean by that is Millsap can be a starter for a low level playoff team/Lotto team but he is not a starter for a contending team. Great bench piece, but not starter.

One other side note, I wouldn't take Bledsoe over Wall. I know there was some discussion about that earlier in the year but Wall DESTROYED Bledsoe in the second half of the season (when Wall was actually healthy).

Wall's in another stratosphere. Doubters will be dealt with.

I don't think you have to prove Bledsoe is a starter in order to want him. With his length and athleticism he can play 1 and 2, so we definitely have 30 minutes a night for him.

And, of course, we need perimeter defenders and all-around bruisers in the worst way.

I'm with some of you - I would much rather have Teague - he's more of a pure PG. I think he could average nine or ten assists a game with the Jazz. And there are tons of good backups we could look at - the Pistons are loaded with PGs. At any rate, Teague is gonna get paid! I'm going to guess between 8-10 million a year.

So is he the Millsap of the PG world?

No I don't think so. Remember, Millsap off the bench was a monster. He worked hard and showed he deserved to be a starter. I just don't see the same in Bledsoe. You would think he would outplay other teams 2nd unit PG. And I didn't witness that much this season.
