What's new

What would be the first thing that you would do if you were Snyder?

Seriously, was it said anywhere in the presser or the Locke interview about near future plans?

I heard the question about Summer league, but not his response. Is he?

He talked about building trust with the team, did he say he would be reaching out to the players?

Like I said...Lagoon. If he can get a 7-footer on Wicked, he can do anything.

Saw a tweet that said DL and Snyder don't know if he'll coach it yet.

i'm gonna tell these to my team

1. 'hey trey, this is your team now.'
2. 'hey gordon, i picked you #5. now shoot 2000 FTs per day 6 times a week'
3. 'hey hayward, you are my 6th man. adios'

Communicate with the youngsters and make them feel how they are valuable to the organization. Tell them that they will play till they die. Pick smart, let Kanter shoot, increase the pace of the game and try to use condom not to have 4th children.

The man just had hip replacement three weeks ago, I'd say he ought to Call Briggs or TOSH first, a realtor second and have a team meeting/ trust building exercise when his moving truck arrives. Jazz teams have a very bad reputation for not helping each move, it is a problem that started in the Malone Era, carried through the Dwill saga and was unfortunately picked up by the current group. Time to change that culture, it begins with the players moving in their new and physically limited coach.

If the players were smart they would all show up to suck up to the new coach.

Favors: hey coach, I got here early because where I'm from in Atlanta the time is two hous ahead of here. Where you moving from Coach? You don't say....

Evans: coach, I unloaded your patio furniture, BBQ Grill and law mower, I'm good with outside stuff, I mean I could've unloaded stuff for the inside, that's a slam dunk, but you know I'm versatile.

Enes: coach where do you want this glider rocker and ottoman?

Ian Clark: yes, I'm on the team.

Alec Burks: Coach, everyone was just standing around, and they weren't sure what the plan was, but I just started grabbing boxes and taking them right into the house.

Rudy Gobert: coach,I put everything on your top shelves, changed out all the light bulbs in the vaulted ceilings and pre hung all of your Christmas lights, psst did you know Enes couldn't even reach the top shelf without a ladder, even when he jumped?

Trey Burke: Coach, I'm gonna be up in the truck distributing boxes to the team, because that's what I do...distribute.

This was awesome. :-)

Great stuff.

Fantastic, mellow!

A few additions:

JLIII: Coach, I'm in charge of the security system. I've got extensive experience hiding cameras everywhere, and I mean EVERYWHERE inside the house. That's how I ensure my job security. Ummm, I mean giving you security is my job. No, no, I promise...only you have access to the video feeds.

Hayward: I was really better at all of this two years ago. Kind of confused about what I should be doing now. But I do know some great guys at Bailey's. They can't play a lick of basketball, but when it comes to moving, they're real pros.

Garrett (in a hushed voice): look, I don't like to bad-mouth anyone, but Trey is so SLOW. See all these guys just standing around, waiting for Trey to hand over the boxes. You need me to pick up the pace. I can get everyone involved and run this way more efficiently.

Murphy and Thomas: we don't really do anything, but the law requires a minimum number of workers present. Just give us some towels and we'll hand them out when the real workers get sweaty.

Richard Jefferson: No, I'm not coming over. I just want you to know that Kanter guy is all glory and no guts. Give him the pillows and kiddie toys to unload. But ask him to help with the heavy lifting and he'll just give you a ton of excuses. He'll conveniently arrive on the spot after four others have the sofa and appliances well-in-hand.
