What Would You Do? (car question)

So I own a 2007 Suburban LT. Really love the vehicle. Literally the only problem is that it guzzles oil, I'll have to put oil in every 1500 miles or so. Only has 112,000 miles, DVD player, leather, it's nice.

My grandma recently passed away, and I have the chance to buy her 2004 Escalade ESV. It has similar miles (113,000), DVD player, navigation, backup camera, leather, Bose stereo, yada yada yada. As far as I know, know mechanical problems.

Anyways, I could sell my Suburban and buy this and probably net about $5-8k, plus lower insurance and licensing since it's older. I also know I really like my suburban. Am I foolish for thinking about doing this? Thoughts, advice would be wonderful. Thanks.

Side note: I'm not planning on replacing this vehicle until it dies. I'm not in a situation where I can afford to buy a new vehicle if something bad happens.

Seems like an easy choice. Get the vehicle that runs better and in better shape and net $5-8k. Set that money aside for a new car in the future or something else.

Then you can slap some spinners and tint the windows and do drive by shootings with it or just look gangster at intersections.

Spinners lol.
Nice one broncster.
Custom spinnin wheels, I ain't drove in a week them bitches spinnin still

I would probably go with the escalade simply because I get cash money in my pocket and I'm cheap like that.

The biggest hesitation is that I know what I have the suburban. I like it. Is it worth a couple extra brand for a different vehicle that I might not like, that's also older? Idk.

It's not a couple extra grand (like 2K)...it's an extra 5-8K.

I'm still not sure if you're trolling or not? I mean, can't you test drive the ****ing thing for like a week to see if you like it?

Maybe I'm different, but it takes more than a week to find out a lot of things for me in a car. I don't have time to go drive it around, I have a job. Is there a reason you're acting like more of an *** than usual? Please advise.

They are basically the same vehicle anyways. Just get the one that doesn't burn oil. Unless it's the escalade that looks like a Tupper ware truck. Then stick with the burbo.

Define "a lot of things."

Things like how many dead hookers you can fit in the storage space. You can't just go out and kill a dozen hookers all in one night, people might notice.
