What would you give up for Matthews?

Lets say the Jazz had a magical chance to somehow to reacquire him from Portland.. would you be interested? Would you turn your head? What would you be willing to give up for him? Evans?? Draft picks?? Maynor?? Troutbum??

First and foremost, you do realize that Maynor is no longer a member of the Jazz and has not been since about half way through last season? You should delete your account simply because you obviously are not a Jazz fan.

That being said, I'd give up CJ, an unprotected first round pick, Bell and Evans to have Matthews back right now. I'd even throw in my left nut if I thought it would help.

Regarding Troutbum... he's our bad karma for going nearly 20 years during the Stock/Malone era with little to no injuries. I'm afraid we're stuck with him for at least another decade. The Jazz would have to give up a first round pick just to have him root for another team.

That alone should give you a gauge for the validity of this thread. Mods, please ban user.

Uh, Maynor still plays for the Jazz you fools. He's talking about ERIC Maynor. Eric. D-Will's rookie backie.

I would sacrifice Vinny, Bum, Kicky, and all the other mods for a slug of warm beer. I don't think we could git it, though.

You're all retarded, of course Maynor isn't on the Jazz. Ya'll can dish out the jokes but can't take em.

I'm just saying, who wouldn't do what they could to get Matthews back on the team? Its a sincere question - would you trade Evans for Matthews?

CJ, and Elson.

After Oberto retired, they could use an experienced backup C until Magilla Gorilla gets back at the end of December.

The Jazz cannot afford Matthews, he would cost them around $14 million dollars this year with luxury penalties. He is a slight upgrade from Bell and Miles but hardly a game changer.

FYI

Matthews is shooting 17% from beyond the arc and us averaging 10 ppg so far this season. How much of an improvement is that over what we currently have?...not much.

His stats in Portland aren't great but they really don't bother me. He is a better player than either Miles or Bell and he was born to play in The Jazz' system.

He'll be back in Utah someday - but unfortunately it will be a while.
