I think that the first key to building a cotender is GREAT management and GREAT coaching. Go back and look at championship trams that didn't have the best players in the league. They all had great coaches and great management. They put themselves in the position to have that bit of luck.

I am of the opinion that the jazz have a top 5 management coach combo today. So, that gives me way more hope than our current collection of players. Don't get me wrong, we have talent. But our core is hard working, smarter talent at the top. That earned the spurs a half dozen championships when combined with one top pick.

I think that our coaching is pretty good. Within the top 10. I thing the biggest problem with the franchise is our management. KOC, and DL? Really? You feel that they are a top 5 package deal? Makes me wonder if you are familiar with any of the presidents, VP's. VP's of basketball opps, GM's or even assistant VP's that are in this league? You apparently are unfamiliar with the extraordinary talent that is in this league at an executive level.

KOC was once our GM, He showed incredible weaknesses at that level to the point that media coverage was naming him one of the worst GM's of the league. (This is mainly because of his unpopular trades, FA signings and draft picks). Then out of nowhere the Jazz promoted him to President of basketball operations. If you think DL has control of anything, think again. He has virtually no say so in any fact of the matter. DL came in on default. Why would anyone think that they front office is in line withi anyone?
