1. What big men will be traded? Five quality big men is crazy.
2. Haven't addressed defense or 3 point shooting
3. Possibility of Bell/Miles gone? You want Burks to get some time
4. Who is our SF? Millsap?

I doubt any big men get traded. I could still see us shopping Harris for someone else, but other than that, I don't know.

I think things will be sorted out after a few years. The Jazz Big men are Favors 20, Kanter 19, AJ and Millsap are mid 20s, Evans is 23 and if your are including Fess (24) or Okur (may be done). The future is Favors and Kanter the rest will be more support players in a few years.
Of course we didn't get any better defensively but I think the fact that TY has said the Jazz will be changing their defensive strategy might make a big difference all by itself. I think the Jazz have improved athletically and that will help.

I think we should trade Bell for a high second round pick. I would look to move CJ for a SF who could defend and be more consistent. Yes I want Burks to play if he can handle it. I certainly think he can give us what CJ does. Probably not as much scoring but he will rebound and be a better defender.
I think Millsap and Hayward will play SF. Perhaps Evans can get a few minutes but I will have to wait and see if he has improved his handle and jumpshot.

Round out the coaching staff. We have a ton of talent. Now it has to learn, develop and mature. Hence, the coaching staff.

Look for Kanter to be used as a defensive big. Which is one thing that the Jazz need. He looks to have the best NBA body than the rest of the bigs that were drafted. It looks like the draft were for bigs, after the first two picks.

Memo is most likely done, but even if he is able to come back, it will be in a very limited capacity IMO. My bet is that he will be traded as an expiring contract, assuming there even is a season.

Good point. The coaching staff additions are critical. We need a top of the line defense coach and a big man coach. Any ideas?

I bet the Jazz were expecting Walker or Jimmer to be there at 12. I wouldn't be surprised if they had a trade underway for Harris, until that happened. May still happen.

If we have a season, I do not expect Okur to stay on the roster past the trade deadline. He should have Kanter comfortable by then. Don't know what we can get with Okurs expiring contract.

After next years draft, I expect at least 2 to 4 of our players on the current roster to be traded. I would love to make a great trade to go along with this draft, but maybe we should wait to see how things shake out. Thoughs are my thoughts. Anyone else have ideas?

What? That is why I advocate moving Favors to center, because Kanter is limited in his lateral quickness and leaping ability. But who knows, Malone used to play pretty good defense just using his amazing strengh. Kanter would need to develop Malone type strength in order to play above average defense in my opinion.

IMO any big man defense for the Jazz is a plus! They really haven't had much lol! Some is better than none and I really like Favors.

The biggest question is who starts at SF. Obviously if we resign AK, he will be the starter. If not, it will either be Hayward(with Burks/Miles/Bell as SG) or Millsap. I think it should be Hayward and Miles, have Favors as 6th man and Burks as scorer/creator off the bench.

Harris-Watson
Miles-Burks-Bell
Hayward-Millsap-Evans
Millsap-Favors-Evans
Jefferson-Kanter-Okur-Fess

Bring Sap to the bench 1st, swapping in Favors. Burks would then sub in for Miles. Sap would come in at SF for Hayward after he subs out. Obviously Watson subs in for Harris, and Kanter for Jefferson.

Speaking of Malone, we need to get him on our staff somehow as a strength coach or something. Can you imagine what both Kanter and Favors would look like if they got on the Karl Malone training regimen? Scary...

I think that Millsap should come off the bench for Favors and then bring in Kanter for Jefferson. Bell should start and then bring in Burks for him then have Watson and Miles come in for Hayward and Harris.

Get a translator for him and it is a done deal. I think it is a toss up on who speaks better English between Malone and Kanter.

That would be amazing. The Jazz would bruise and hurt everyother frontcourt tandem in the NBA.
