What's The Last Movie You’ve Seen?

Saw Captain America and liked it. It helped we were at the new theater in Sparks with reclining fake leather lay-z-boy seats. Awesome.

Also watched Mud. I liked it more than I thought I would. Finally a movie where McConaughey actually seemed like a real person.

Now I am not sure if YOU are being serious.

McConaughey plays caricatures more often than not, not real people.

*Mind Blown*

I've always thought Tip Tucker was a real person.

My comment is an indictment of McConaughey's acting ability more so than the actual written role. I heard Dallas Buyers Club is a turnaround for him, and Mud was very well acted as well, so maybe he is done cheesing it up and playing the one-dimensional roles now, or maybe as he ages he has found out how to do "depth" of character. I don't think I have seen Tip Tucker, as normally for me having McConaughey in the movie is not a draw. I usually only watch his movies when someone I trust gives me their impression first. Not that I think he is terrible. He is always likeable, but that is usually about it and I find that pretty meh.

I like him in Mud and Dallas Buyer's Club.

Haven't watched True Detective yet, but it sounds like he's great in that too.

Anybody see that movie "Bernie" with Jack Black and McConaughey? Pretty funny flick and well done.

McConaughey's been on a roll lately. Really becoming an artist as opposed to just being a cool dude.

Yes I've seen it!!!! Was a pretty good dark comedy from memory.

I do believe we have a similar taste in movie.

Loggerbro, MM is not the same dude. You need to watch some recent projects of his. Guys turned it around. Start with Killer Joe.

Mcconaughy is awesome in tropic thunder tbh

Grand Budapest Hotel was fantastic. Much funnier other Wes Anderson movies. Less subtle and dark than Tenanbaums, it was still great though.
