What's The Last Movie You’ve Seen?

Gonna go see Ex Machina tonight. Found a dollar theater about an hour drive away that's showing it and today is the last day it will be there.

It was very captivating right til the last minute. I fell in love with the robot, who would have thought?

Ex Machina.

Brilliant. Everything about it. Extremely well directed/shot, acted (Star Wars is in great hands with Isaac who imo may be the hottest guy (talent, not looks) going right now and to take it a step further would be absolutely perfect for True Detective--ultra talented, not highly mainstream at this point, delivered meta lines extremely well in this), and written. It really made you think without being preachy and I found the dichotomy of the setting interesting.

Can't recommend it highly enough.

Yeah agreed. Oscar Isaac was FANTAAASTIC in this. Honestly he really carried the movie IMO.

I liked it. It's very meta.

While We're Young - Easily the most accessible Baumbach film. Really funny, but its subtle humor, so if you're into Sandler it might go over your head. Not my favorite Baumbach film but its certainly near the top.

I googled it. Still never heard of it though it has some big name actors in it. I have never heard anyone talk about that movie before and never knew it existed till now. (Got a 29% on rotten tomatoes fwiw)

It's kind of funny. Really funny when you are 13, just kind of funny now.

Watched It follows. I loved the camerawork but didn't really enjoy how the story unfolded.
