What's The Last Movie You’ve Seen?

Last movie i watched was "La La Land" Today am going to watch "Logan" after reading good reviewes.

What did you think of La La Land? (im going to see logan on Tuesday)

What About Bob. First time seeing it.....more laughs than any movie I've seen in a long time. I don't watch many movies more than once.....but that one will be watched again eventually.

I mean, I enjoy watching it. I enjoy watching the Oscars too. I meant more about people caring who wins/loses. I dont care about the results of the All-Star game. Some people just get so worked up over the Oscars and who "deserves" to win.

You always say you are here for the drama when some people are stirred up against each other. Consider this a type of drama that people love to follow and popularly discuss about. I think your question is the same with "why do we support teams? " "Why do we feel belonging to a certain nation? " etc.

I post, therefore I am.

Mormon just barely seeing what about Bob? Blasphemy.
At least tell me you have seen better off dead.

Saw Logan.
It was ok. A little too dark and depressing and heavy imo.
My expectations are probably too high.

Agreed. I did like the idea of exploring what happens when a mind as powerful at Prof. X starts to go, whether seizures or dementia or whatever. Probably the most interesting part of the movie tbh.

I never got into the Riddick movies, not a fan of Vin Diesel really, always far too one-dimensional. Anyway I'm watching Riddick on TV right now because I'm bored. Beyond a lame plot there is a HUGE plot-hole in this one. Why don't the bad guys just use night vision goggles? They are fairly easily available in our time let alone in a very tech-heavy future or whatever. Guess that would negate the whole movie but it strikes me as incredibly dumb.

Yep. I did like that aspect as well.

Was thinking about watching this one. Was on the fence whether to give it a chance.

I think I will pass.
It was enjoyable. The last battle was pretty good. The problem is the lack of character building and the first two acts are super slow paced, especially for a movie that doesn't have strong characters.

Rogue One was borrrrrinnnnngggg. The action scenes seemed OK but by the time it got to it you were already half asleep/could care less about the characters.

I want to see Logan, I've wanted a good Wolverine movie, since he's always been the best part of the x-men.

I have a friend thats an unreal encyclopedia of movies (and many other things), his IQ is probably near 180 or so, absolutely uncanny ability to recall all sorts of minutia.. He sees pretty much every movie that comes out too..

Gets worked up over who deserves to win like u wouldn't believe..

he also could easily bet and win at a really high rate but doesn't give a damn.. somehow in his mind he thinks he'd be so compelled to bet big that someones gonna win that he'd lose his shirt.. I've tried to explain bankroll control to him but it's a lost cause..
