As long as a girl is of legal age, to me, age is just a number.

Over here it’s pretty common to see a 20 something with a 40-50 year old man.

They prefer older men cos they are more stable financially and emotionally.

Pretty much everyone who says "age is just a number" is trying to justify a relationship they know feels weird, or is viewed as weird by others.

No, it doesn't matter at all. What you do with other adults is entirely your business. But we can razz you about it all day since it is still a bit weird.
 
It's not really about the age gap, it's about the kind of man who pursues younger women.

I dont think there is anything wrong with a 40 year old dating someone who is like 20 or whatever, but if that same 40 year old is only pursuing women under 21.... kind of sus.

42 is considered the right age here now.

Re-watching Mad Men on Netflix right now, Season 2 Episode 11 you see Roger Sterling divorcing his wife to marrying Jane Siegel who’s only 20.

Both seem blissfully happy.
