What's The Last Movie You’ve Seen?

I watched Drive. It wasn't that great. Awkward slow dialogue, turned into a horror like violent movie fast, where the hell were the cops, weird plot like movie. With that said, I think I had too high expectations. The music and the filming was sick though.

Just got done with this one:

Thoroughly enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed Warrior.

Not a movie, but I finally finished the TV series Game of Thrones. I've already read the books, so I knew everything that happened, but it was nice to watch it. Pretty good series.

Rocky and Karate Kid had more focus on the training and the journey before the matches rather then the matches then warrior, there was barely any training in this, like the tourney was in like a couple of weeks or something like that.

Are you kidding me? I bet you hated Rocky and the Karate Kid movies too, didn't you?

I agree with the OP here. The marketing on Warrior was awful. For me, not only was it obvious about who was going to fight in the finals but who was going to win the final match. This was evident from the trailer. It's also evident from the DVD box cover which is as bad as you get as far as giving away endings. Just stupid.

Just watch The Descent - I know it is old movie and most of you probably already saw it but anyway - pretty decent.

"A delusional young guy strikes up an unconventional relationship with a doll he finds on the Internet. "

A JF member story or a Ryan Gosling featured movie. Anyone seen this - Lars and the Real Girl.

I saw "Safe House" in a preview screening the other night. I really enjoyed it. Pretty good action/thriller. Really enjoyed the chemistry between Ryan Reynolds and Denzel Washington.

I assume you haven't seen.

Yes, I've seen it about three years ago, did I like it? No, I just loved it. So much. It's not my genre, but it's a very warm movie, peaceful, and reminds me an asian sailor friend who had a, you know, plastic gf. He was literrally in love with it. :) He even got engaged with it and was begging to the skipper to make them married. At the end, he(the captain) convinced him to finish the relationship and make him throw his fiance into the Indian Ocean.

I don't want to spoil the movie so I can only say this, you can believe the movie because there are really that kind of relationships in the life.

But I have to warn though, there is noone anything like charlie bronson guy in the movie. So you may get bored.

And please, make a guess, which JF member could have a similar story. I've a guess but I don't want to start a war.

Is that the story of the 49er fan who was quick to post after wins but went on a two week hide in a Safe House after they were eliminated from the playoffs?

I don't believe we're allowed to make fun of Katie like that on this board. Please refrain from doing such in the future.
