What's The Last Movie You’ve Seen?

I have fallen asleep twice now watching Big Short. Will try it one more time tonight. If I manage to finish it I am sure to fall asleep watching the Detroit game.

And I have fallen asleep watching Eat Crap Pray in theaters 22 (twenty two) times.

Just sayin' ;)

Although I have a sickness of falling asleep during movies in theaters. Even during Revenant during a scene that was silent and full of freezing and calming snow all around, I woke up with a shotgun fire. I think I cursed waking up. Like "ananıskim!"

Will see Deadpool before this weekend.

Saw Revenant and kicked ***. It's a must-see-on-theaters movie.

Especially the bear rip apart scene. You just don't expect the scene to get any longer and worse since it's DiCaprio after all and the movie would end if he died.
That bear scene is one of the most terrifying things I have ever seen in a movie. Especially since I am often alone in the woods. That's why I carry bear mace with me. Though it's more for black bears since I'm rarely in grizzly country.

I went hiking by myself just yesterday actually.

Funny story related to my hike yesterday.
Maybe tmi but whatever.

I was about 2 miles from my xterra when I suddenly needed to poop really bad. I had no toilet paper.

So I removed my jackets and took off my t-shirt and pulled out my knife and cut my t-shirt in toilet paper width strips.
Worked out pretty good. In fact I kinda liked it better than toilet paper.

****ty that it was a shirt that I liked though.

Well there is this Turkish saying "tedbirsiz sıçan taşı domalarak arar. (The one who poops without taking precautions searches for the rock bent over or smth like that)" so don't take your ******* for granted next time, will ya?

Amazing photos. Thanks for sharing.

I ****ing love snow. I mean, I'm sure the homeless would disagree, but it is one of the miracles of Earth's nature in my narcissistic opinion.

Why did the pics stop?

Steve Jobs.

Meh. Fassbender was terrific but the film itself left a lot to be desired. I'd give it a 6.7.

Since I haven't been on the site in a while, I am just going to post as I remember some of the winners and losers I've seen over the last few months.

I'm not sure how or when I heard about Coppola's The Conversation (1974) starring Gene Hackman but considering it's subject matter, I'm glad that I got to see it.

Im amazed by people who test themselves to that extreme for very little or no reward.

The most I test/challenge myself is camping with very little and hiking into uncharted areas. And some of my fishing excursions are somewhat difficult.
But the things I do are not really that hard and I think they are simply fun.

Climbing Everest is like slowly killing yourself.... And spending lots of money to do it. More power to those rare folks to dare to do it.

No ****ing way I would ever try something like Everest though.

Agreed, Everest is totally overrated. There are lots of other mountains with a more impressive prominence rating that are far less likely to kill you. Mckinley, Kilimanjaro, Fuji, That tallish mountain in Chile/Argentina, Timpanogas, all better options. Everest is also reportedly, very crowded and littered due to it's popularity. It's no longer cool people, give it up.

I saw this opening night. Best horror movie I've seen in quite some time. It's put me in the mood to watch some other recent horror movies that got good reviews (The Babadook, It Follows, A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night).

Anyone seen any of these?

Seen It Follows and A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night.

I felt It Follows was intelligent, had decent camerawork but there is something missing with that film.

A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night was more of an Art film and I loved the cinematography. You should watch it. Solid as hottie would say.

I saw this movie a week or two ago at noon. Me and my friend where the only people at the showing. It was pretty cool. It was a solid film, kind of over-rated as far as critical acclaim IMO.

Me and my friend really liked it, but I don't think most people at our showing did. The people behind us kept complaining about not being able to understand half of what was said. Some people boo'd when the credits rolled.

LMAO, yeah I heard that a lot about people hating it opening night. People expect to see a different movie. I usually really dislike time pieces because of the dialogue, but I thought this movie did a really good job of making the dialogue work without it being too straining to understand.
