What's The Last Movie You’ve Seen?

How was this? I really want to see it. David Schwimmer from Friends directed it and Roger Ebert gave it four stars.

You can tell Freeman was very loving to this particular project. Also features a relatively early Jonah Hill performance.

I thought Brand was fine as the Arthur characther, he actually fits it quite well.

Hellen Mirren is great, it's just the movie is so horrible.

I find Helen Mirren very attractive. I'm not saying I'd like to hit that or anything but for a woman of her age and with the whole silver hair, she carries herself in a way that is very attractive to me.

I swing back and forth violently on Russell Brand. He was very engaging on "Fresh Air" awhile ago when he wasn't in character. But lord if I don't hate him in every movie he's in.

Russell Brand is not funny.

Given his somewhat slapstick reputation, his humour is relatively high-brow if you're watching closely... (not just in Arthur, but in everything) I'm not surprised this is your opinion.

His books (I've read one, starting the other), deviate substantially in tone from what you'd expect from a slapstick comic.

It is hard to cast Brand in anything that isn't absolutely ridiculous, because he's so damn good at ridiculous. But if he found his "Eternal Sunshine", I think a lot of people would be surprised with Aldous Snow's range.

Please don't use the "r-word" it is offensive and malicious.

Trying to put up a facade of human compassion by condemning the use of a "word", makes you look retarded. Especially on a message board.

Words are words, there are no 'bad words'... there are only ignorant people... If you thought I was using the word "retard" as a slight on those who are actually handicapped, I deserve all the condemnation a message board can muster up. But I wasn't, so quit acting like a bitch.

Would you also defend the use of the n-word on the basis of "I wasn't using the word as a slight on those who are actually of african descent?"

There are some predictable audience effects that exist based upon the language that you use. Pretending otherwise is silly.

Although I am enjoying you treating our new 15 year old in exactly the way you were treated when you were 15. Boy did you complain.
