Every NBA arena serves a pregame meal to media. In Portland this year, only 1 player before tonight has gone thru chow line: Andre Miller.

the Washington Wizards media guy also made a point of it. I don't know what the problem is. The media wants access to players, they got it. Instead of tweeting about Gobert eating food they should sit down by him and ask him a few questions...like "how are the croissants? Hey isn't that French?

Anyway why does the media need free food? They already get free admission to the game, and probably free parking. And its not like they are burning a bunch of calories during the game, and a few of them probably ought to lay off the food all together. So why get bent out of shape because Favors is hungry? He is supporting a girlfriend, twin babies and his mom on his salary. Besides, didn't someone post that Jeff Malone is now living in Ghettoville even though he made a few million playing ball in the 90's? Do we really want Favors to be panhandling in 2031? I don't. let them eat.

I think the Jazz players are just smarter than the Blazers. Who doesn't take advantage of a free buffet?

Seems like the journos are bithicng cause the Jazz bigs ate all the food from that buffet not leaving enough to poor hungry media reporters.

Yeah he was totally serious! I mean $4m doesn't really buy all that much food. You need at least $6m to eat well.
