Lebron not publicly complaining about wanting to leave Cleveland, then holding a TV show in which he chooses Miami......

or

Howard publicly complaining, opting in to his contract, publicly complaining more, trying to opt out of his opt in, and demanding a trade to a team with crappy trade pieces?

The thing about LeBron is Cleveland is his home town. If Dwight was doing this to Atlanta then yea, worse.

Also Clevelanders already were starting to hate LeBron for checking out of late playoff series 2 years in a row. It's really hard for fans to hero worship on a guy that quits. That being said, I should again give the guy credit for an all-time playoff performance this year. As far as appreciating him as a player to me he's pretty much redeemed.

I still say Howard's is worse. I mean, Lebron became a FA and chose were he wanted to go.

Dwight is still under contract and is trying to choose were he wants to go, when he wants to go. I just find that disgusting. If you wanted to be traded, ask for it quietly and don't cause a scene.

I think they're both bitches. The only thing I don't understand about Howard is it seems nobody's willing to call him on it.

The only thing bad about what Lebron did, was the spectacle on TV.

Howard, Melo, and CP3 are all worse. There's a big difference between players who honor their contracts, and the POSs that sign for big money, and then cry like little bitches because they just wanted the money, but don't want to follow through with their part of the deal.

What LeBron did doesent hold a candle to what Dwight did. People are still looking for anything against the most scrutinized player in the history of the game.

Good point.
I guess LBJ gave the impression Cleveland still had a shot at re-signing him. So the Cavs held out hope and got nothing in return. At least the Magic KNOW they have to trade Howard and will get some value back.

As a corollary, shouldn't we also include a player who openly defied a HOF coach, stopped running the plays that were called and basically quit on his teammates, even calling a rookie out in game who forgot a play. On the positive side, he never demanded a trade. But it sure was nice to see his "shock" when he learned about it via ESPN.

This is like asking... what's worse an ingrown toenail or an ingrown hair?
Ingrown hair. The toenail hurts right away and after having it removed, you can hide the evidence. A hair takes awhile and is really ugly if it happens to be on your face. You have that ugly bump and redness for days. And trying to remove it too early sometimes makes the mark even worse.

Good point.

No, not at all.

I am repping you for this.

Uh, it's not a good point because that's not the only thing he's done. He pouted off the court after Orlando beat Cleveland to go to the NBA Finals, without shaking anyone's hands. He partook in the spectacle on stage in the AAA with the fireworks and claimed "not one, not two, not three..." and so on. He was one of the key figures in the collusion that is the Miami Heat. He talks in the third person and made dumbass comments like "I'm taking my talents to South Beach" and after they lost in the Finals last year, "... all the people that were rooting on me to fail, at the end of the day, they have to wake up tomorrow and have the same life that they had before they woke up today..." Add in his and Wade's mocking of Dirk and the fact that he's pretty much a frontrunning bitch and always has been as a Yankees, Cowboys and Bulls' fan, and the guy is the biggest douche in all of professional sports.

Putting all the personal whiny crap aside for a moment, and forgetting actual names, who would you rather have on your team: The guy who demanded a trade to your team, and in the process, grabbed every penny he could, thus screwing you out of any chance at improving enough to play for a ring, or the guy who honored his contract, and then took less money so your team could have a real shot at winning?

Love this post. Can we add excessive flopping as well?

Lebron. Obviously. I already said Howard is worse in this thread. Not to mention he's overrated imo as a player. But that doesn't change the fact that The Decision was not "the only bad thing" he's done.
