I never knew what my typing speed was so I checked. I don't know what's considered good or what's consider bad.

I tested out at 65 WPM with 2 errors, 97% accurate.

BTW, I used the "Astronaut" test. I just did the baseball one and it was much easier.

I got bored (ok, ok...really bored) and typed gibberish as fast as I could and wound up with 216 wpm with 0% accuracy.

Not only did my intellectual development stop at 6th grade, I also think I was typing around 60 then as well, which is what I got just barely. Makes sense.

I got an adjusted rat of 46 on the baseball one and 48 on the test instructions one. For a mix between finger pecking and correct typing technique, that ain't too shabby.

P.S. Marty is also one of the fastest texters I have ever seen, so it makes sense that you type like a mad man.

I butchered the astronaut one. Too much punctuation. I only got about 45 on that one. 55 on the baseball one. I am not a fast typist. But don't really need to be.

Oddly I didn't do too much better on the baseball one, though it certainly felt easier/faster to type. Astronaut one = 93 wpm, baseball one = 96 wpm.

baseball - 77 wpm, 98% accurate, 76 adjusted wpm
