When did Burks start sucking?

I swear he was better in his rookie year. Or he has just sucked all along. Maybe I was wrong. Maybe he fooled me, he fooled you, he fooled Zulu too. He fooled all of us on this school bus.

...he started his downward spiral when he first hit the basketball courts in his local schoolyard....and his buddy told him:"You ain't ever gonna be no good unless you can dribble between your legs, behind your back and dunk the basketball!"

You dont think dribbling through the legs and behind the back has its usefulness?

I watched Ginobili go around his back in a huge NBA Finals moment and it worked, and it was perfect for what he needed to in that moment.

Is Ginobli a hopper too?

To be honest, I think Burks has quit on Corbin. I'm guessing Favors is next.

Then I don't want either of them. If they are so mentally weak to stop playing the game hard due to a coach, when they should have a passion for the game they supposedly love and get paid millions to play, then they can go be moody and ambivalent elsewhere.

The key is using it as a tool. If they are just using it to be flashy and look "cool" then that is usually counterproductive. How many times did you see Stockton do a behind the back, between the legs thing? Rarely, and when he did it was quick and efficient and used to free himself up for a phenomenal pass or shot.

Wrong. It's a bad thing.

He was a lottery pick! Kawhi Leonard was available... so many people picked after him are out performing him.

Burks hasn't regressed, he hasn't gotten worse, etc.

He is what he is...a backup SG. It's not a bad thing. We need a backup SG. This is a good thing. We just need to get him playing in his role and quit doing all this silly starting PG crap.
