What's new

Where the f.... is the game Thread? Jazz-Sixers starting in 30 min.

Dante played better than Rubio but shock didn't finish the game. People saying Donovan played well. R u serious. He was terrible. Quin what a joke you're!!!

I have said this many times:
Donovan is nothing more than a selfish chucker, ala Trey Burk with double the low % shot attempts

@NUMBERICA

I would love to trade Burks and Rubio for value this season. However, I would be willing to trade them for any asset we can get. If we need to be the 3rd team in a John Wall trade, do it. If we get an asset for taking Dellie, do it.

I'm tired of having no balls. If we don't trade Rubio and Burks, we probably stick our balls between our legs and bring them back to do this same **** again.

Get rid of quin rubio. Tell Mitchell to stop chucking

Despite his low shooting %, mitchell has the liscense
from Quin to keep chucking shots.
OTOH if Dante made any tiny mistake,.he gets benched for the game. That is why Quin is an idiot.

I am hopeful that Quin will have the nuts to give Allen some burn and that he could perhaps be what we're looking for in a player (a ballhandler that can shoot and will put in the effort), and eventually bench Rubio. If Rubio is the best guy in the world like it's advertised, it might actually do him well. I also think Burks is a good player and provides something the Jazz often lack.

Destabilizing the locker room to possibly make the team even worse in order to merely acquire dice to roll (that's what assets are when they aren't good players) is a terrible idea.

And generally, I think a lot of the woes here can be mitigated just by opening up the damn spacing. Mitchell and Gobert are beasts around the rim, the offense needs to be built around letting them do that, and that means everyone else shoots the three and passes. This team played above it's talent level in '17 because they had a PG that simply made the right plays and played 4s that - while ancient - were able to move the defense by shooting (Johnson) and/or passing (Diaw, who could hardly do anything well but pass).

Right now, we're feeling the effects of the Jazz sitting on their hands this offseason. Change will come, it's just a question of when and what.

24th in the league on 3 point shooting going in, will be about dead last after this one.

It really shouldn't be that surprising. We have one really good 3 point shooter on this team, the rest of the guy's are average at best and some of them are just plain bad. DL's got to add some shooting to this roster at some point.
