Where will Jefferson stand in All Star voting this season?

Here's my order:

Dwight Howard
Al Jefferson
Marc Gasol
Dim Tuncan
Javale McGhee

Jefferson will show better than Gasol on defense and get the 2nd unit nod from the coaches. Gasol gets snubbed. Dim Tuncan dies on the court as his droopy head finally falls off his Padaung neck.

Well aren't you being the nitpicky hater today. I meant offensive, obviously.
Better off a nitpicky "hater" than a complete ****ing moron, but to each his own, I suppose. It's going to be fun watching Jefferson telegraph passes for 8 seconds before lazily throwing them into traffic from the high post the rest of preseason.

Why would it be fun watching the Jazz play poorly?

As long as Jefferson gets his stats and is an all-star, I'll be happy. That's all I watch for anyways. Nothing else matters.

I'm with Franklin here, in my hoping that Al can put together the all-star type play that we saw from him pre-injury.
A couple years in the Jazz offense, a full training camp, and a plethora of shooters might just skyrocket his play into Jefferdad's hateville.

If the Jazz win to a top 5 berth it's almost inevitable that as the team focus Al is an All-Star. How close was he last year?

You never answered the OP. always interested in your pov.

Also, what are your thoughts on Jefferson after his reduced roll in the offense. No change? Nothing he can do to win you over?
If he starts making better reads, making them faster, and executing with precision, while boxing out a little better and showing some sign of life defending the pick and roll...For $15mm, that's what it's going to take. That is, if he becomes a player who I think is good enough to be the centerpiece of a true contender, convinces me he can play a complementary role on a contender or contributes to a more entertaining brand of basketball, I won't want him gone.

As for the OP, I couldn't possibly care less where he ends up in All-Star voting. I don't watch that slop.

edit: For what it's worth, he seems to be running the floor a bit better so far (I thought the same about his team D early last season, but it seemed to deteriorate as the season wore on).

You want Golden State strategy ball, I get it-- Anything less than a top six player has no position on a Jazz team.

No one is expecting any of these guys to be a "centerpiece" of a championship team. We don't have the luxury of a top five player and no amount of Jefferson hate will change that. But go on building your perpetual loser hoping a bunch of late lottery picks all turn into Kobe Bryant at once.

Not sure who you're arguing with, as I never said any of that ********. Try again.

I guess that the OP meant being selected to the All-Star Team. Not actually voted in. There is no way in hell AJ gets voted in. I don't know where exactly he placed last year in terms of actual votes; but it wasn't even in the Top 6.

Centers: Andrew Bynum (LAL) 496,597; DeAndre Jordan (LAC) 134,961; Marc Gasol (Mem) 102,116; Nenê (Den) 94,167; Marcin Gortat (Pho) 62,631; Kendrick Perkins (OKC) 41,579.
