Also, I think Splitter would probably end up being a real-er piece. I am not high on guys that need the ball in their hands, are small, and aren't PGs.
For real?
If the Jazz could get a corpse with an expiring contract and a future protected #1 for Al right now I'd take it like it was Christmas.Any trade involving Al makes the most impact on the team and it really doesn't matter what's coming back.
Big difference between someone who can "take high % shots" and someone who can "make a high % of shots."Wouldn't you say though that Big Al epitomises the Jazz org. as a whole? Takes high % shots. Takes no risks. Slow to react. Patience (letting the clock run down to 5 seconds left before passing), etc, etc.
Sorry, yes, I was being sarcastic .. I was poking fun that your Post was obvious.I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic, but Al has been holding this organization hostage since he came here in one way or another* and it seems that the Jazz have Stockholm Syndrome now.
*take your pick of: plays that are even able to be run (or are but aren't executed well), a 20-possession tax put on your team every night, him being the only big that has never and will never be benched or have his minutes cut into if others under him are playing better, ability to impact the game in transition, put the other team in any kind of foul trouble...
Cy ... I swear you're the anti 'do the right move' dude.
I will definitely admit my choice is taking the safer approach. I just feel like we are going to get Burke in the draft. I feel it is destiny.
