Going with Delon over THT would make no sense. The dude has fallen a bit from his prime. He's not very good anymore.

If you're going for a vet, get an actual vet PG who is good, not low mid to mid.

Current results = 8,7,4,7,7
This tells me collectively we think Sexton stays, but we have no freaking clue beyond that.
I think Sexton could definitely get traded. Unfortunately he's only played in 57 of his last 164 games due to injury so wouldn't expect any great return. It would be kinda nice if he could raise his trade value. His contract is a piece that could be used as part of a future star trade.

THT was basically salary dumped for Beverly last offseason. Has he improved his trade value or is he seen more as an expiring contract to other teams?

We all like JC but I don't hear his name bandied around as a core piece for this team moving forward. The recent draft had me raising my eyebrow a bit.

My guess is they trade 2 of these guys. Whether it happens now or at the deadline is another question.

Maybe we can trade THT ($11,020,000 in 23/24 then will be a free agent) and the lesser of the Cavs and Wolves picks in 2025 for Dejounte Murray ($18,214,000 in 23/24 then will be a free agent). We get a nice starting point guard for a year and hopefully convince him to stay longer (would cost more if not an expiring deal) and Atlanta gets a nice rotation player plus $7M off this year's salary and probably additional tax savings too in addition to a first round pick. I know they paid more for Dejounte, but he is on the final year of his deal and they might lose him for nothing.

I think the Jazz will try to move a couple of them. I like Sexton to stay. JC doesn't seem to fit the Jazz youth movement. I would say that he's turned around for some assets. His extension should be easy to move and non-toxic to another team. THT is the enigma to me. Where does he fit in the Jazz long-term plans? Is Dunn here for the long haul?

If the Jazz had George as a top 10 prospect, then they see him as having an NBA skill, coachable, and essential to their build. Is coaching enough to develop him, with significant playing time? He'll certainly be showcased in summer league. I see him and Sexton as the fireplugs in the guard rotation. It will be fun to watch!!

Wright had the best TS% and Steal% of his career last year. His WS per 48 was the second best of his career. His VORP was the third best of his career. His TO% was the lowest since 2018-2019. His TRB% and assists% were both better than his career average.

Try again.

If THT gets traded , do you follow him ?

You’re the parent that yells the loudest at their kid from the sideline , but the kid isn’t very good
If I'm the parent that must make you the weird *** dude who goes to kids games and you have no familial or personal connection to any of them. Get out of here weirdo.

My son is the tall guy that you wanted to sit , but ended up being better than the guy he replaced

Agreed someone needs to move on and I will take the wager on JC. I dont think he is going anywhere. My vote is Sexton but seems DA likes him so it comes down to whoever brings the most in return.

I think if we end up trading any of them it would be late into the season.

I think the Jazz are comfortable with what we have.

Have I mentioned that I don’t think the jazz are going to use a traditional point guard? I think all 3 will share the rotation, and the best contribution will stick.

There is a lot of turnover on a ton of rosters this off-season. But just because everyone is out there fishing doesn’t mean the good fish are to be had at this moment.

Right now, not sure any of them at this point. But one is getting shopped at the deadline for sure. If I was betting on it I would say Sexton if given enough run to start the season, will have a lot of interest around the league. But the same could be said for the other 2 on expirings regardless of their production.
I will guess Clarkson is the first to go by the deadline if not asap. He is a proven walkin bucket on an expiring

Some of these contracts are crazy. 5/260 potentially for Haliburton. He’s a really good player but he’s never been close to a getting a team to .500. If they just continue losing for another year and a half with no progress…

The logic is. Who will be your two best players on your team...or can you tolerate a overpriced good player when you try to acquire talent or develop a rookie. Both of those types are getting obscene money.

Some non allstars getting the bag. Halburton is legit though, I can see why they had to pay him. But can he avoid the injuries? I would not have paid him that much, way to risky and the fact they did says they are not worried and or gamble a lot
